20.01.2022 Reflecting on our so called society!

19.01.2022 Well done Jenny, David and four corners. This is just the tip of the iceberg though of how abusive and destructive this system is, a system used to destroy whistleblowers as well. ABC Four Corners link: https://youtu.be/fxIvKogrE2Q

12.01.2022 Petition for a Federal ICAC. Please sign & share https://www.aph.gov.au/petition_list?id=EN1649

12.01.2022 It’s time for more Greens in our parliaments to prevent such unconscionable political practices.

12.01.2022 We certainly need more Green senators, especially for NSW. Let’s hope we can get a great candidate to win the seat of Richmond NSW.

11.01.2022 We need everyone’s help to address the climate emergency! QLD election next weekend.

10.01.2022 Please consider signing and sharing.

09.01.2022 Unconscionable !

09.01.2022 Time for genuine action by Australian Government .

09.01.2022 Sadly the House of Representatives is not interested in transparency, accountability or good governance. Thanks for doing this Larissa.

08.01.2022 We need an effective Federal Watchdog ! Larissa Waters stated: No public hearings for public sector corruption allegations... Can only investigate criminal offences Cannot act on confidential tip-offs Punishes whistleblowers Allows the Attorney-General to keep information from the commission This sham federal ICAC will do nothing to stop the litany of scandals that continue to plague this government. My bill for a strong corruption watchdog passed the Senate over a year ago. If the Morrison government was serious about integrity, it would bring on that bill for debate.

08.01.2022 Stunned! Australia supporting America military manufacturers. We haven’t learned a thing from Vietnam or the pentagon papers! By the way Vietnam and Taiwan were more effective in combating COVID than Australia. Didn’t gut their economies , a fact lost on most of our media. See them at numbers 155 and 156 On :... https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ Australia is at 72 .

07.01.2022 Clearly this important news item was not high on the list of priorities for 'their' ABC. It's only the environment? :(

06.01.2022 The passing of Justice Ruth Ginsberg marks an incredible inspirational career and contribution touching so many lives. Thanks to Michael McDougall for the following comments and post: I would like to be remembered as someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability. ... Vale Ruth Bader Ginsberg.. It’s been a sad day today. The passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a legend of Women’s rights and by association all equal rights, has touched me deeply. She reminded me so much of all the strong, visionary women in my life. My mother. My sister. So many amazing women. One of my mum’s telling, yet throw-away, lines (there are so many that still guide me through life), was men are problem makers, women are problem solvers. That’s not to say there haven’t been some pretty hideous powerful women in contemporary history (Margaret Thatcher, Pat ‘Just say No’ Nixon, Phyllis Schafley, Pauline Hanson, Gina Rinehart, Anita Bryant, Mary Whitehouse etc.,) but ‘they’ played by the boy’s rules. Ruth never played by the boy’s rules. She was always a woman and didn’t need to play by the same rules the boys did. She brought her feminine instincts front and centre to the table and that rattled the men. As a man who has always been aware of the malevolence of the way most men play, my affinity with most (but not all!) women came very naturally. I’m surprised by how deeply her death has effected me. But I shouldn’t be. Ruth has been a lifebouy for so many dreamers. I’m just one of them. You can watch a version of her story here: Watching RBG in iview https://iview.abc.net.au/show/rbg

05.01.2022 The state of our NSW parliament. Well done David

04.01.2022 We need to move away from the political parties owned by fossil fuel donations etc.

02.01.2022 Let’s all speak up!

02.01.2022 So true Adam. An ICAC with prosecution powers to actually meet the public interest test. Sadly LNP and Labor have too much to loose by having an effective ICAC. We have been knocked back or rejected 14 times before & now we have the AG or first law officer claiming the Federal ICAC has been put on hold due to COVID and Albanese has been in denial about corruption. We need a GREEN majority!

01.01.2022 Leadership! Where would we be if we had acted quicker like Taiwan (similar population) re COVID? https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/... If we had listed to the science on climate! Adhered to or accepted taken warnings re bushfires etc et .
