24.01.2022 UPDATE: Etta is home safe, relaxing beside me and came through the surgery well... now the long wait for pathology to ensure they got it all and to confirm exactly what this lump is made of... thanks everyone for your well wishes and thoughts for Etta's recovery. 23.01.2022 A Groenendael litter is in the planning stages.... we are expecting to breed the amazing "Lucy" (Beletta At Last) around October 2020 which will have puppies ready to go around February 2021... The baby daddy will be announced in due course.. All our breeding dogs have health testing done for hips/elbows, eyes, dna (full breed profile) and pre-breeding blood panel.... results available on request from interested parties... expressions of interest in puppies are always welcome :) (photo is Etta with babies)

Laying turf in 40 degree heat is probably not the smartest thing I’ve done... but couldn’t have done it without the help of my partner in crime Bronwyn ... got 2 areas done today, now to wait a couple of weeks for the next load to be ready so I can finish it... we will top dress it then to fill in the little gaps

14.01.2022 While we’re at it.. after the removal of -3 palm trees, we needed a little bobcat work done in the back yard... he did a fantastic job.. now to extend the cat run and put up a house yard fence... then plants and trees for shade

09.01.2022 The fracas over Fressen Vessel has blown over and these two eminent artists are now working on a collaborative piece entitled on/under couch - garden edition.... Nalle Spitz was so impressed with on bed/ off bed/ under bed that he contacted Evie Gooddogs agent to see if she would like to meet for breakfast to discuss some ideas he had. Where Evie Gooddog explored the concept of bed, together they prove that traditional notions of couch are outdated. The couch usually appreciated as a soft space for viewing the wandering of humans and possums, is recast as an architectural space, providing shelter in its most original form. The shelter aspect references lairs of ancient canine people. Viewers of this performance, particularly in the possum community, must understand that this is a dynamic work and need to be prepared for Spitz to make his lightning speed exit from his contemporary lair. I was first introduced to the Laeken 7 years ago at a specialty show and was intrigued to say the least.. this was the beginning of a love affair.... This girl has a character that is so unique.. she is a show dog, a clown and a companion, the most loving girl I have ever met.. she loves everyone.. she gives the best sloppy kisses all over your... face and will snuggle in to keep you warm. She loves a good lap and a good chair, haha... when you meet her, she will touch your heart and you will forever be smitten with this beautiful, happy loving, outgoing, amazing girl..
