07.01.2022 Volunteer Coordinator: Apply Now! BUCOG is very excited to launch our new Volunteer Program. The purpose of the program is to create, promote and endorse accessible volunteering opportunities to Bond students. Our objective is to create a volunteering program that is flexible and adaptable to all students’ needs. As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for endorsing, coordinating and overseeing the program itself and how students engage with charities and exter...nal organisations. What’s involved? Maintaining and updating the volunteer registrar. Overseeing and consistently checking the volunteer booking software i.e. checking appointments are filled and reviewing any cancellations. Organising and running Community Catchups; regular information sessions for students to seek clarity or assistance about the program. Maintaining constant communication with external organisations and charities to organise volunteer opportunities every semester and to provide notice of how many volunteers will be present at the volunteer appointments. Tracking the volunteer activities and points accumulated by students throughout the semester. Organise an end of semester event to recognise the achievements of our volunteers. BUCOG has created a community team page where you, fellow bondies and even Non-Bondies including your family and friends from all over the world, can sign up and join our page! You can choose to walk 25km, 50km or 100km over the month of October! You can track your kilometres online using Fitbit o...r Strava or manually enter your kms! Your family and friends can make donations to support your walk! The BUCOG page will show us how many funds we can raise collectively as a community!
