24.01.2022 We are following this atm something a few of us in the resource sector discussed about 4 years ago and didn't want happening. I really hope the federal government or state government look at stopping this moving forward. Not only local jobs going but reliance on fuel coming in from Singapore doesn't protect WA if we run out of fuel. Shame on BP for this announcement.

20.01.2022 Who remembers this place in Perth? As a kid from the bush going to the city this was a favourite place for me as I grew up watching old John Wayne movies this was great to see some cool stuff here. It also was a place where you could buy a BB gun a plastic pellet non lethal firing toy. In Western Australia over time the store disappeared and BB guns became illegal to own. Now I sometimes wonder why faceless public servants push agendas to stop fun with no common sense to just...ify rulings. This week a Bill is being tabled in parliament for Air soft to become legal in Western Australia as I have stated overtime I think it's now common sense prevailed and that this Bill gets endorsed and WA stop being classed as a nanny state. This Bill will encourage tourism create jobs and new business. So fingers crossed it gets over the line. All the best to the Airsoft supporters throughout WA and Australia. See more

13.01.2022 Had the privilege of watching the NAIDOC ceremony recently at Halls head community collage. Great to see that promotion of traditional culture is alive and well with the follow your dreams program supporting students who want to learn about their culture. Congrats to all involved and a big shout out to the elders and Jo Bell for their support with the collage.

10.01.2022 Well its been a few weeks and sorry I havent posted but can confirm that we polled outright 5th in the federal election. This wouldn't be possible without the support of the friends, family and volunteers who helped letterbox drops, prepoll and on election day. I like to say to you Thankyou very much for helping me and encouraging me to speak up for issues in Canning and WA's best interests. So what happens now? I like to put this to you what do you want to see in the near f...uture? I have taken a few things onboard and have to say the elected govt opposition and other parties need to be held accountable for any failings with the policies they preached to the community. They must now deliver for results and make these promises happen. With the partys support I would like the page to keep running and the voice of the people to come to the forefront to achieve results. Please share, get me involved with any community groups you feel are needing a listening ear and a voice to channel your concerns. Thankyou once again See more

09.01.2022 I will always stand up for equal rights and atm the people of West Papua need our support to get our politicians off their backsides to get a UN referendum sooner then later for independence from the tyrants of Indonesia. Julie Bishop refused to help in their time of need before and now the pressure is on scomo and co to do their job on an international stage and recognise these great people who helped us in years gone by. Please follow the Free West Papua movement on Facebook. The ABC has journalists in the country hopefully they will show how they are suffering to colonial rule. Thankyou.

07.01.2022 It's sad to see that in 4yrs the current serving members have failed to deliver with the promises regarding this issue. The community sees this daily and continue to wonder why isn't it been dealt with. Time for change.

03.01.2022 One of the big gripes in the community atm and there is a few but let's start with this. A tax by the state government and revenue office of $30 for a fee that's for a group that is to small to achieve its potential of eradicating specific flora and fauna but I'm not going to bag the group it's just they have a big area to cover but the government as usual don't realise this. Most property owners have and can manage there own properties way before any government funded groups... were ever formed. What is happening now is you, don't pay the $30 you will be threatened by the revenue office with caveats on your property. The issue in the south of the peel region is in 10 years we have had major fires burn areas which now have been exposed to new plant life growing in locations never seen before. And alot of these areas are national parks or reserves so who manages them? Now I put the challenge to the local sitting members sort this debacle out let the property owners continue to manage their land and perhaps use the royalties program not the landholders to fund the Diversity group. Stop the threat of fines or caveats. It's an election year stop the rot and listen to the people. See more
