22.01.2022 A BIG thank you to Jess for sending through some of Kiah's beautiful work from this morning's 4-6 year old C.R.E.A.T.E art therapy group as well as providing a summary of the benefits Art Therapy has had on gorgeous Kiah. "Given Kiah has severe anxiety disorder as well as ASD she normally finds participating in a group setting extremely distressing and may leave the room entirely or refuse to participate and engage in the activities. Kiah really enjoys her art work and will ...normally utilise drawing to help calm herself down when shes feeling anxious or upset. Therefore the combination of group therapy and art into the one setting has allowed Kiah to be much more involved in the group" whilst also making it a much less intimidating and overall more enjoyable experience for her. And most importantly of all, in Kiah's words its so fun. It was amazing! See more

Infected water has gotten through the system and is hopefully fixed by this afternoon. It can cause gastro. This is the yarra valley area. 88 suburbs affected! Take care everyone!
