19.01.2022 RINK BOOKING WEDNESDAY 30 SEPTEMBER 9:30am 11am Skaters and families,... The rink has been booked by a school holiday program and so there will not be a public skating session on Wednesday 30 September 9:30am 11am. We hope you’re enjoying the break, and that we'll see you at the rink at another time.

16.01.2022 Photos from the junior ice hockey finals games on Wednesday ... There are a number of options to join our growing ice hockey community. Enrol in our Aussie Skate learn to skate program if you're a beginner skater (link here :https://www.darwiniceskating.com.au/learn-to-skate-lessons/); come along to our beginner training sessions on Saturday morning if you can already skate (training resumes 16 January 2021 10:15am - 11:15am); or register to join our next comp in term 1 2021 ...if you've played elsewhere and have recently moved to Darwin (link here https://www.darwiniceskating.com.au/junior-ice-hockey-comp/). Continuing players will need to register as well. Email [email protected] or phone 0429 569 321 for more information. On Saturday 9 January 2021, we will provide a 1 hour session between 10am - 11am at no charge for our junior ice hockey comp players to say thank you for a great year.

16.01.2022 Three exciting games of ice hockey at the rink tomorrow morning to conclude the Build Up Cup. Puck drops on game 1 at 7:30am, spectators welcome. Note that there will be no ice hockey training this week, with normal Saturday morning training to resume 17 October.

15.01.2022 LEARN TO ICE SKATE PROGRAM JANUARY 2021 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Skaters and families,... Subject to sufficient interest, we are planning to run beginner learn to ice skate lessons during the school holidays in January. The program will be held over 4 weeks commencing the week beginning 4 January, with lessons on Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6pm, Thursdays 5:30pm - 6pm, and Saturdays 10:45am - 11:15am. Cost is $75 for five lessons for children 6 - 14 years, and $85 for five lessons for 15+ years. School sports vouchers accepted. Registration is required at the following link: https://docs.google.com//1soR_f8XGJxmjItMi2Li1Ml/viewform The following solo program was performed by Tasya, one of our Aussie Skate freeskate level participants, at the recent German Christmas Market.

14.01.2022 SATURDAY OCTOBER 31st This Saturday, October 31st, Darwin Ice Skating will be hosting the annual Halloween party- but not as scary this time. This year, food will be available again, and session entry will be at the flat price of $15 for 2 hours of skating fun. The session will run from 7pm-9pm, with songs, games and snowball fights as usual. No costume is required, you are welcome to rock up in whatever you like- costume or no costume! We hope to see you at the rink for some ice skating fun!

09.01.2022 FREE ICE SKATING SESSION FOR CARERS WEEK As part of Carers Week, Darwin Ice Skating is pleased to team up with Carers NT to recognise the important and selfless efforts of carers. If you register before COB Friday 16 October you'll be able to skate for free during any of our public skating sessions this weekend, Saturday 17 to Sunday 18 October inclusive.
