23.01.2022 Thank you all for the page likes, I am not a natural self-promoter!! I hope everyone is #stayingathome, looking after loved ones and also keeping an eye out for the vulnerable. I am spending the day preparing for tomorrow nights Councils meeting where Councillors and staff will use video conferencing to navigate the agenda. The meeting will be live streamed as normal from 7pm.

21.01.2022 This brilliant picture by Chris Lithgow evokes so many great memories for me growing up and settling down in my hometown. As a child, as an adult and with my family. Many trips under the viaduct to the pool, to play cricket, basketball, hockey, driving lessons around the show ground and of course... visits to the dump! I also fondly remember Harold George Coates OBE former Mayor of Lithgow.

17.01.2022 Today was the first ANZAC Ceremony my mum has attended for quite some time, at her letterbox in these unusual times. It was quite somber to remember those who have sacrificed life before us and just how lucky we are. Thanks to the resident two doors down who played the last post. Lest we forget.

17.01.2022 It was an absolute honour to be involved with and assist this beautiful couple, witnessing their trauma, their sadness, frustration, gratitude and unwavering resilience to rebuild their lives after losing everything. Elizabeth lost her dear Tom recently and Im certain she will continue to fight to rebuild her life on a patch of dirt she claims as her home. A perfect example of all levels of Government working together after the devastating fires last Summer.

17.01.2022 My submission of support is in for the Angus Place Mine Extension Project. Have your say!! On the 20th April Council resolved to support the Angus Place Mine Extension Project. Springvale Mine currently employs 450 full time mine workers and is scheduled for closure in 2024. Once developed the Angus Place Mine will continue with the employment of 450 mine workers. What are your thoughts on restricting vehicular traffic up to Hassans Walls Lookout to one way from the Lithgow end with a barricaded designated walk/cycle way? The Vale end entry could be two way.
