25.01.2022 **EDITED : There is no BYO allowed. Security will be doing regular checks of the venue** Due to circumstances out of our control there will be no bar operating at the races tomorrow. There will still be food and softdrink available for purchase through our canteen.

22.01.2022 The Emerald Jockey Club wish to advise our followers that patrons will not be permitted at our race day tomorrow. Should you wish to watch the races, be sure to tune into Sky Racing from 11.53am. We look forward to having patrons back in the near future.

22.01.2022 Dont have to work Monday? Why not celebrate and come to Pioneer Park for our TAB races. We have 7 local races starting from 1.22pm with bar, canteen, bookmakers & TAB operating. In case you needed convincing, we also have FREE GATE ENTRY! Head on down to Pioneer Park this Monday 9th March for a great day out.

12.01.2022 Emerald races abandoned due to overnight rain.

11.01.2022 The Emerald Jockey Club wish to advise that the first ever Spring Racing Showcase will be postponed until 2021. This was a hard decision as we were excited to bring this event to the Central Highlands but with still quite a bit of uncertainty surrounding Covid 19 restrictions we feel that it is best to wait until next year to launch.

11.01.2022 Due to the recent restrictions placed on racing due to COVID-19, the Springsure St Pats Race Meeting has been transferred to Emerald. The canteen will be operating from 12pm - 3pm for trainers and essential staff. *Please note that access to the general public will not be permitted at any races in Emerald for the forseeable future.* ... You will still be able to view the races from your quarantined space by visiting the On The Bit facebook page. Should you have any questions regarding the changes to the industry during this time, please first check the Racing Queensland website or contact them for further clarification.

10.01.2022 A notice to all licensees attending our Race Meeting today. Trainers will not be permitted in Jockeys Rooms There will be a marquee set up near the mounting yard as an extra seating area for jockeys Strappers bibs will not be required.... Saddlecloths will be hung on the breeze barrier near the mounting yard (please assist our staff by only taking them from off the breeze barrier) Canteen will be open from 11am-2pm for your lunch and cold drinks. Any staff that are normally fed by the club will continue to be. The bar will be closed. NO PATRONS ARE ALLOWED AT PIONEER PARK RACECOURSE ON RACEDAYS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. If you wish to watch the races tune into the ON THE BIT Facebook page. We thank On The Bit for assisting during this time of restrictions #covid19restrictions. #socialdistancing #keepracingalive

06.01.2022 A bit of movement happening about the place at the moment with the club receiving funds as part of a successful grant submission. Today, the wonderful team at Patrick Refrigeration have been on site upgrading our coldrooms & installing air conditioning in the office and we look forward to keeping you up to date on the improvements to Pioneer Park. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who spend many hours working on our grant applications.

05.01.2022 ITS RACE DAY!! The track is looking great thanks to our hardworking committee. If you cant get down to the track today from 12pm be sure to tune into Sky Racing 1 & Sky Central from 1.20pm to watch 7 quality races go round Pioneer Park.

05.01.2022 Thankfully we didn't get the rain predicted for yesterday which means our track is still looking the goods for this weekends races. Gather up the family and head on down to Pioneer Park Racecourse this Saturday for a fun, casual day out.

05.01.2022 With all the uncertainty in the world at the moment, we are grateful that Racing Queensland are continually adapting to ensure the continuation of our industry. The implementation of new zones means that we will now be racing every second Saturday but patrons are still not permitted at the track. Instead get dressed in your finest, put out the nibblies and champers and cheers us on from the comfort of your lounge with Sky Racing 1.
