05.01.2022 Perfect conditions for the Federation trail yesterday. What a fantastic event- so well organised and amazing volunteers at those aid stations! A bit of a buzz seeing old school mates helping out at the stations I haven’t seen for 20 years! The beauty of running on old stomping ground. Pretty awesome to be able to run through Monarto zoo, not sure what those animals were thinking. Definite highlight was the turn around point in Kinchina (NOT) But such a spectacular trail and relatively flat compared to the Adelaide Hills which makes for a nice change!
