25.01.2022 The curtains have closed on our very successful world premiere season of Bigg Developments musical comedy. Thank you to the whole team - cast, crew and everyone involved with music, choreo, costumes, sound, lighting, props, set, ticket sales, shop, etc., - for helping to bring laughter and joy to so many people. A huge thank you to our audiences who supported us in record numbers. It adds to memories that will shine brightly in our hearts and minds for many years to come.

12.01.2022 Let's start meeting our talented cast of "Games of the Gods" musical comedy. - Hera - Evie Rounsley Fresh from her Gold Palm nominated run of Elphaba in ‘Wicked’, Evie is excited to perform in her first JWP show. Also a recipient of a Commonwealth Bank Excellence Award, she has played the roles of Ursula and Baroness Schrader in award nominated productions of 'The Little Mermaid’ and 'The Sound of Music’. Her other credits include several original shows with Goat Track Theatre, including the title role in 'Juliet in the Gardens'.

08.01.2022 With growing concerns about COVID-19, John Wikman Productions sadly announces the cancellation of its 2020 production Games of the Gods musical comedy. Even though opening night is still more than two months away (29th May) it is becoming increasingly obvious that COVID-19 will have an enormous impact locally, nationally and overseas for months to come. This is a difficult decision but the health and safety of cast, supporting crew and patrons is our first and highe...st priority. I note that some cast are already self- isolating which is a concern. I offer special heartfelt thanks to my talented, energetic, entertaining and supportive cast, Ruth (choreographer), Lia (costumes), Matt (music arrangements) and Richard/John (set and props). When these crazy uncertain times pass, I invite everyone to come enjoy this magical musical comedy when we finish together.

08.01.2022 Let's introduce another cast member of "Games of the Gods" musical comedy - Juno - Amber Powson Debuting in her first JWP production, Amber Powson has been training in the performing arts since the age of 6. When she's not singing her heart out, she is representing a wide range of brands as an actress, extra, model and voice actor. Her previous projects include 'Godzilla VS Kong' (2020), ‘Harrow' (2019) and 'Dora the Lost City of Gold' (2019). She is represented by Agency888.

06.01.2022 JWP has been busy working on the script and songs for their latest musical comedy show - "Games of the Gods" which is a revision of "The Gods" previously produced in 2011. The show's characters are a mix of mythological gods of Greece and Rome with an Olympic flavour - hence very appropriate for Olympic year 2020. There are many great roles for males and females aged +18 years, e.g., Zeus, Jupiter, Heracles, Hercules, Hera, Juno, Aphrodite, Venus, Poseidon, Neptune, Mars, A...res, Hades, Bacchus, Athena, Minerva, Artemis, etc., each with their own JWP twist. It will be loads of fun with catchy original songs ranging in style from pop, rock, dance, latin to blues and a little country. We will be looking for around 15 in the cast some playing multiple roles. Planning to hold auditions in early February 2020 with rehearsals from February to May. There will be 7 performances over 3 weekends from 29 May - 14 June at Wonargo Cultural Centre, Northgate. Let me know if you need any further information. Love to hear from all interested. See more
