24.01.2022 Nicko wants to be part of the success The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Nicholas O'Kearney has recommitted for the 2021 season. As a Keilor junior, Nicko went into the Calder Cannons program, and was rewarded for a few standout years, with a Rookie List spot at St Kilda in 2015.... Despite not playing an AFL game, Nicko then went onto claim a runner-up Sandringham Best & Fairest in 2017. He returned to Keilor in 2018, and has had a horrid run of major setbacks since, breaking his neck late in the 2018 season, and after a brilliant return less than a year later, a major knee injury saw him sidelined just 3 games into 2019. His quality is unquestionable though, despite playing 6 games less, he was the winner of the Bruce Ellis Trophy in 2018 (Clubs Best & Fairest). Fingers crossed with a full year off and recovery, he is finally able to play a full year in the Blue, White & Red - A scary prospect for the EDFL Premier Division. #KeilorProud

24.01.2022 Well, the secret is out - The big fella is BACK! The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Andrew Browne has committed to return to the Keilor Football Club in 2021. Browney returned to his childhood club, Mansfield, in 2019, to pursue a player/coach role.... He returns to a league in which he has won everything on offer, since 2013 his record includes; - 2016 Premiership Player - 2 x Bruce Ellis Trophy - 1 x Reynolds Medalist - 1 x Reg Rose Medalist - 4 x EDFL Interleague Rep Due to travel being a major consideration in coming back, Andrew has made it known that he'd like to return and have success in our colours once again. As a fan favourite amongst our community, we know you'll all love this one!! #KeilorProud

23.01.2022 Easy does it, Toddy's back for another year The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Todd Stevenson has recommitted to the club for the 2021 season. After an outstanding debut season, Todd will return to Keilor next year, hoping to further improve on what most would have considered, a flawless season.... The Midfield, Ruck, pinch hit forward, intercept defender and 'off field' specialist grew into the Premier Division season in 2019, improving every week, which some didn't think was possible. This saw him finish as Runner-up in our Best & Fairest, along with that Premiership Medal in a perfect season. We're excited to continue to have Todd part of our club in 2021. #KeilorProud

22.01.2022 Thumbs up from Jay, he's ready to go! The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Jay White, has recommitted to the club for 2021. The 2019 Premiership Star is a Keilor Junior who has progressed perfectly through from Junior Football, Under 18s, Reserves, and now, solidified himself as one of the best 1v1 defenders in the Premier Division competition. ... Not only a defender, Jay has found himself around the grounds, often used as a relief ruck, or a even as a spearhead goalkicker when required - Highlighted by a 5 goal haul away to Maribyrnong Park in 2019. Known for strength and intensity, Jay immediately gains the respect of his peers on the training park which transitions to the field, knowing he'll give absolutely everything on game day. From a great Keilor family, we're excited to have Jay committed for another year! #KeilorProud

21.01.2022 The Keilor Football Club is delighted to confirm the recommitment of the following players for 2021. Ben Maud - Incredibly impressive CV over the last 9 years in open age football; 1 x League B&F, 4 x Club Reserves B&F. Conveniently, never won a club Best and Fairest in a Premiership Year.... 2 x Premiership Player. Least liked player in Premier Division Reserves and has embraced that status. Will definitely get his hands on the footy in a game and has turned away big cash money offers from many clubs, because he's about close to a regular senior game at Keilor! Parker Sneddon - One of the most reliable 1v1 defenders in Reserves Premier Division. 2019 stats: 400 spoils, 220 handballs, 0% kicking efficiency. Co-Captained in 2019 of the Reserves and most players hoping he won't be anywhere near it in 2021. Has also had experience of playing Senior Football at Keilor. 300 gamer and life member of our great club. Ben 'TikTok' Radloff - 300 game superstar, life member & Social Club Captain and is very well loved by all of his team-mates. Strong presence on the field and loves being in amongst the rough and tumble. Fielded many offers during 2020 but decided to knock back big money to stay and challenge for a Senior Game, he was devastated to hear that Browne had returned though. One of the best big for nothing players Premier Division Reserves has ever seen. Paul Tobin - 0/10 in Grand Finals so if any team wants to win a flag it's best to drop him in the biggest week of them all. 300 gamer and life member of the Keilor Football Club. We'll be announcing more recommitted players soon! #KeilorProud

18.01.2022 Xavier gets a taste, and wants a whole lot more The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Brad Xavier has recommitted to the club for 2021. Coming off an interrupted season due to a back injury and a nice little European Adventure, Brad returned to the fold a man on a mission, to ensure he was part of success. ... Brad was pivotal upon his return to the side, being used as a relief Ruckman whilst also being a key defender in the side, a testament to his flexibility and skillset to excel in both areas of the field. A humble and respectful man off the field, yet a competitive beast on it - Brad was rewarded last year with a Senior Premiership Medal on Grand Final Day, and is keen to add to that tally in the future. No doubt he hasn't stopped high intensity training during this Pandemic, and we all can't wait to see those benefits next season. #KeilorProud

Joey came over to us from Macleod Football Club in 2019, as well his time with Northern Knights in the TAC Cup system.... The ever-reliable small defender solidified his own spot in the Senior side, despite being eligible for the U19 program last season. 18 games in his first season in the Premier Division side was topped off with a sensational finals series and Premiership Medal - A key cog to the undefeated team system. Joey's consistent and reliable form was shown in the Premier side's B&F, polling 14 votes and finishing in 8th spot in the count. 10.01.2022 Friday Night Re-signings Nick Guarino - With almost 2 full years to get his body settled, Nick is looking to have a consistent year dominanting in midfield and hitting the scoreboard with plenty of goals. Has been know as the difference in previous years, hoping for that to continue! Michael Pino - The versatile Premiership Player in the Reserves will be looking to build on a great foundation since moving from Basketball. Michael has now developed into a consistent player i...n both Seniors and Reserves, playing in a variety of positions including Ruck, Key Position and even an extra Midfielder! We can't wait to see where his game takes him in 2021! Daniel Richmond - Up from our U18 program in 2019, Richo is developing into a great key back option. Having previously played with Sunbury and in their Senior Football side, we're looking to see Richo develop into a strong positional player and then into our own Senior side in the future. Michael Sahlberg - Former junior footballer, Michael returns with brother Paul, to really inject some top quality into our Midfield. Michael has played RDFL outfit Riddell since 2016, notching up plenty of Senior Football in that time. We cannot wait to see what he can do at this level, a fantastic recruit back to Keilor. We'll be announcing some further re-signings in the coming days! #KeilorProud

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Marcus Sultana, another one of our lucky winners of the weekly hampers, supplied by Provincial Produce Australia. Enjoy the fresh produce mate! #KeilorProud

08.01.2022 The EDFL is currently seeking applications for the position of Board Members. All the details from the original link below. #KeilorProud

08.01.2022 No fuss Pup ready to go again! The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce that Jamie Papalia has recommitted to the club for the 2021 season. One of the most loved characters at Joe Brown Oval, Jamie has a complete disregard for his own body and safety, whilst doing absolutely anything for his team mates.... With the number 1 on his back, Pup has been as consistent a footballer that we've seen at Senior level in the last decade, being an in and under bull that doesn't let anything stop him, ever. Not only known for his tenacity and physical presence, he is also infamous for sneaking forward late in tight games, having kicked a winning goal on more than one occasion in recent seasons. Closing in on a huge personal milestone to go along with his two Senior Premiership medals, we're so excited to continue to watch Jamie perform on a weekly basis. #KeilorProud

08.01.2022 Stilly just loves it at Keilor FC The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce, that Brett Stillman has recommitted to the club for 2021. Brett came over from Premier Division rival Greenvale early in the 2019 season, and it's fair to say he fit straight in.... The uncompromising and tough midfielder was a key cog in the middle of the park, and didn't miss a game after making his first appearance in the Senior side in round 9. His performances so good, that despite not starting the year, he finished 4th in the clubs Best & Fairest count, alongside picking up a Premiership Medal. We're delighted to have Brett and his family part of our club, and we think he's happy to be here too! #KeilorProud

07.01.2022 The Keilor Football Club is delighted to announce, a further 4 players, who have recommitted to the club for the 2021 season. Lachlan Sneddon - A great user of the ball coming off half back - As well as helping out in the midfield due to a great engine that can go all game. Hands down the most liked Sneddon within the playing group, he's also developed some strong leadership skills in the past couple of years which has taken his game to a whole new level.... His football intelligence also gives him a huge edge over his opponents, and we cannot wait to see where he takes his game in 2021. Clayton Bonello - One of the key cogs in the forward line, and despite being mid sized - Clay can play both small and tall up forward due to his incredible versatility. Attracting some lucrative offers from other clubs in the area, we're absolutely delighted that Clay has decided to stay and recommit himself to Keilor. He's been working incredibly hard in the 2020 break, which could likely see him move up the ground into a midfield/wing role and will no doubt be banging down the door for a regular Senior spot in 2021. Julian Šeol - This strong bodied mid was hampered by a consistent foot injury in 2019, although his dream trip across the European Summer would have done wonders for the recovery no doubt anyway. Now back in action - fitter, faster and stronger than ever, Julz-Cuz is breaking records left, right and centre across the local Strava tracks of TL. He's virtually a new recruit in 2021 and we can't wait to see how beneficial he'll be for us next season. Liam Psalia - Not many blokes love sinking Carlton Zero's after a Saturday game, more than this bloke. Once infamously sledged by the opposition, 'you're just a tagger in the two's' - Everyone at the club knows Liam offers so much more. Liam often finds himself up against some of the best opposition players, consistently finding a way to shut them out of the game for the benefit of his team. This is a great example of selflessness and sacrificing a role for the better of the team, because Lord knows he's not in a side for his kicking ability. He is closing down on the 300 game milestone for his beloved club, something that he and his family will be incredibly proud and deserved, when that day arrives. #KeilorProud

Bypassing all quarantine rules, Messi said he's delighted to finally make the switch to Australian Rules Football, and is eager to impress the EDFL Community. Despite reports in the media of his large wage demands, Lionel has agreed to the terms of; 1 x post game chicken snitchel roll 2 x VB stubbies 50 x Reverse Raffle Ticket 'Barcelona is where my home is, but Keilor is where my heart is.'
