19.01.2022 A special message for parents and carers Novel coronavirus 2019-nCov Dear parents and carers Health authorities across the country are responding to cases of the coronavirus that originated in China.... The virus can cause a range of symptoms from mild illness to pneumonia. People may experience fever or flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and headaches, and in some cases have difficulty breathing. Queensland Health has advised that if children who have links to Wuhan or the Provence of Hubei in China become unwell they should not attend childcare or kindergarten. Families should consult their GP or health provider without delay. Please ring ahead to advise the doctor so they can take the necessary precautions. For more information contact 13 HEALTH.
