20.01.2022 This morning I witness a family of little ducklings crossing the road get hit by a huge truck on the main motorway I dodged them only to see through my rear vision mirror the truck behind me destroy them. My heart exploded in pain & I sobbed hysterically, in fact I was an emotional mess I needed to pull over & make peace with what just happened Living in the bush with all of my little wild animal friends & plants who I talk to on a daily I feel a huge connection to my... spiritual brothers & sisters of the plant & animal kingdom. This morning felt like my babies were killed in front of my eyes in such a cruel way. I know death is natural & the soul is immortal, but the harsh truth of innocent souls being killed rattled me to my core as I considered all of the gentle sweet beings being mistreated globally in every moment of life. Slow down people, look after our planet & it’s delicate creatures They too have little souls & feel pain & hurt like us. Open your hearts & love all beings not just the ones you call family & friends, & the pets you have given a name to! We are all connected in this web of life & how we treat others is essentially how we treat ourselves. 19.01.2022 OMG... kookaburra killing me with cuteness Im lucky enough to live in the bush with so many of this beauties in my backyard. Yesterday the kids & I made hand-rolled beef mince & special kookaburra essential nutrient mix we bought from the local animal supply store. We also bought a new wild bird feeder & big bags of wild bird feed to attract even more of our local feathery friends. ... So our new morning routine is to not only feed the dogs but the beautiful wild birds each morning. 04.01.2022 Teachings from a Pinecone I am blessed to live in a forest with a couple of pinecone trees in my backyard. We often use its seeds of potential to make colour art at home. Last week I suggested to the kids lets go for a hike & collect a 100x pinecones so that every child at daycare can also experience the joy of connecting with nature & creating their own masterpiece using Mother Earths canvas.... Today we dropped the pinecones off & as we did I noticed 3 broken kids wheelbarrows. I said to the manager Whats happening with them? she replied Im throwing them out as they have lost some screws & come apart! I instantly responded with Ill fix two & take them as my kids love being in the garden collecting & carting things around! My kids were over joyed with the conversation that was transpiring as they have been wanting their own little wheelbarrows for some time. But, the best thing about the story is that I was then able to teach them about the law of karma & that when we give purely & make an effort for the greater good of our community with no expectations for anything return god, the universe, higher power, whatever you want to call it will always reward you in mysterious ways... FACT! The art of living is giving Plus, I just happened to be able to collect all the screws from the 3 wheelbarrows to be able to fix 2 of them, which is all I needed. Now, Ill have two even happier little forest dwellers this afternoon when they come home as see them ready to go The more you give, the more you will receive!
