06.01.2022 2nd Mona Vale Girl Guides had an awesome day at Camp Kedron yesterday. Archery, rock climbing, (long and arduous) bushwalk, orienteering, trivia and campfire. Plus delicious food, really friendly staff and weather that held out till the very end!! Highly recommend this for other units. Cost was very reasonable and all-inclusive. They can do overnight if you want a longer camp, and the program can be modified for older or younger girls (we had 9-14 yrs and they did really well). The bushwalk was very challenging and we ended up climbing almost 70 metres above our starting point. The view was worth it though! I am so proud of the way the girls helped each other, remembered their manners, and behaved in general. We all had a fabulous day and I'm sure everyone slept well last night!
