25.01.2022 2019 was a big year for Moore Innovative. We added giant games hire to our repertoire and continued producing our premium mud kitchens, including many custom builds. A change of location meant we could carry some stock which eased the Christmas rush, but it also showed just how much people (mainly the kids that receive them!) love our mud kitchens and demand increased massively... After a well earned break we'll be back on the tools from the 6th January so feel free to get i...n touch for all your mud kitchen and games hire needs! Probably the biggest highlight of the year was lugging this mud kitchen interstate to surprise a little family member... Business is good, but family is always better and the look on his face when he saw a working tap was priceless! Thanks to everyone who enquired, purchased, hired or shared a @mooreinnovative product in 2019. Here's to a bigger year in 2020!

25.01.2022 Isolation has allowed the time to get a few more projects done around the house, including this custom made Spotted Gum hanging tv unit. It was a process taking basic lengths of salvaged timber and creating something beautiful, but, for a first go, I think it came up pretty nice! Happy with the matching shelving framing the tv too!... Thanks to @urban_salvage for always having such a great supply of repurposed timber, and for @lauraemilygazzola's support in me trying something new and drilling holes through our loungeroom wall as a trial! Complete with powercoated plate steel looped legs and matte finish oil this was designed to fit in with the clients existing furniture and colour palette... but a few photos had to happen in the garden before delivery! This unit is made with Kidsafe recommended treated timber, weather resistant fixings, and is plumbed to fit a garden hose so the tap works.... Finished with accessory shelves and hooks, this unit is hand-sanded to reduce areas that may catch on clothing etc. It will be advertised on other sites shortly (they don't generally last long online!). 13.01.2022 The latest @mooreinnovative commission piece, a garden 'potting bench' for an aged care resident at Inglewood District Health Service. An old baby change table had been given a second life for a while, but it couldn't stand up to the wear and tear of the weather and being used and moved around by an enthusiastic greenthumb... Enter Moore Innovative! This mobile potting bench is made with safe-treated timber (with a beautiful grain no less), weather resistant fixings and a hea...vy duty castor set with lockable front wheels to provide added stability. The bench and shelf are deliberately spaced to allow stray potting mix and soil to fall through and keep the working area free from obstruction, and reduce the build up of stagnant water laying on the surface. A number of utility hooks, a bit of routering and a hand sand completed the finish.
