25.01.2022 It is with great sadness to announce the passing today of our dear member, Rod Ross. Rod has been a member of the club for the past eight years and we know he will be missed by his many friends at the club. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts go out to his wife, Josie and family.

24.01.2022 Congratulations to the winners of Social Bowls on Wednesday 12th May, 2021. The overall winners for the day were Jan and Ian Warren and David Pumpa. First game winners were Ted and Karen Gordon and Margaret Milliken and second game winners were Russell and Renate Rees and Kay Westly.

23.01.2022 We’re almost there, well done everyone. Zero COVID cases on the Mornington Peninsula and just 2 cases recorded in the whole of Victoria recorded overnight. We’ll all be watching and anticipating restrictions on Bowling clubs are lifted Sunday and we can get back to playing bowls again very soon.

14.01.2022 Another beautiful Autumn day at MBC on Saturday 22/5/21. Congratulations to our pairs winners for the day. Winners of Winners were Heather and Neil Hayes. Ken Fyffe and John Trewin were our first game winners and Russell Bakey and Ethel Jenkins were the winners of the second game match.

I shared a beer with a gentlemen that arvo to tha...nk him for opening the club rooms for me. He was in his late 80’s and the combination of a life well-lived, a jovial disposition, and budget beer had him sharing many anecdotes. One of which, wound its way to a moral conclusion he imparted emphatically and with certainty. I can’t even remember what it was, but the simple loveliness of the interaction I remember well. I am nostalgic for moments like these, and I’m hopeful we will live them again soon. In the mean time, I’m looking forward to August. See more

14.01.2022 Congratulations to the winners of Social Bowls on Saturday 15th May who braved the chilly weather today to participate. The lucky prize winners were Russell Bakey and Chris Rys for winning both games, Glenn Taylor and Sue Gullidge for winning the first game and Bob Smeeton and Sandra Kafkis for winning the second match.

08.01.2022 The WINNER of the MBC Footy Tips 2020 is.... drumroll.... Bob Mclauglan Marty Cheeseman as runner-up. Last place goes to Ric Newton . Pretty much an exact same result as last year. Congratulations BOB.

08.01.2022 Hi Members We have just been advised by the contractors working on the bar that they suspect there is some asbestos in the bar area which needs to be removed. This will be done over the next couple of days but as the clubrooms need to be closed we have to cancel Wednesday's Social bowls. Roll ups are Ok but there will be no access to the toilets.
