This support is also available for people who are engaging with or considering taking part in the Disability Royal Commission. 18.01.2022 Multicaps Murwillumbah Short Term Accommodation (STA) recently completed a $67,050 upgrade to its main bathroom, with a generous $33,000 grant from the Australian Governments Building Better Regions Fund. This upgrade also provided Multicap the opportunity to add an additional accessible bathroom, both of which are particularly suited to people with high and complex needs. Murwillumbahs STA will offer a more comfortable stay for families, increasing daily living skills and independence for people with disability. 07.01.2022 Last week, we at Multicap were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our former Chair and Life Member, Professor John McAuliffe AM. Prof. McAuliffe was our Chair from 2006 2016, and during this time oversaw many transformational changes that has shaped Multicap to where we are today. 06.01.2022 Our Petrie Hub was contacted by an eager green thumb who offered help to give our garden beds a spring clean.
