22.01.2022 This is an example of when making money means more than aesthetics. The driveway in Lennox Avenue was not wide enough to build a unit in the back yard. So the money hungry developers cut the roof line to the original dwelling so the eaves weren’t over the drive. What an eyesore Great planning approval Glenorchy City Council... shame on you

20.01.2022 We did a letter drop this evening to houses in Wattle Ave and part of Michael St, Bowen Rd, Ashbolt Cres and Lennox Ave (where they surround Wattle Ave). There are QR codes to our FB page, website and petition. The more signatures we have, the greater chance we have to STOP the proposed development at 36 Wattle Ave, and indeed any other development.

12.01.2022 This is why I’m against cramming units onto a block. The view from the sunroom used to overlook the neighbour’s fantastic vegetable garden and catch all day sun. Since the development next door and the now complete lack of privacy, the room isn’t used at all

06.01.2022 We want to STOP the development of 36 Wattle Avenue. Please sign our petition to let the Glenorchy City Council know that we will NOT allow our street or indeed suburb to be exploited.
