24.01.2022 Gather your taco mix because tomorrow nights taco Tuesday will be hosted by ICOT!

24.01.2022 You didn’t think we would leave you hanging in August did you? While Covid-19 still has put a hold on Chariots of Thunder 2020, that hasn’t stopped the team fr...om providing the punters some great entertainment. Introducing the iCot drivers and personality’s iRacing invitational. COT Sport Manager Jason McIver has been working on its inception since June. We have collected a wide variety of Chariots of Thunder drivers and personalities in a special invitational iRacing Series. The team have taken a leaf out of the successful E-Supercar Series and have been working closely with Darwin production team PRLX to make sure we put on the best Speedway iRacing show ever done. The 1 hour fortnightly show will be live and free on the Facebook Chariots of Thunder page. The first round of five will be this Tuesday night at 7:30pm ACST. All the drivers and the production team have been rehearsing the past month and we think we have a really fun show on our hands. The aim is to make it as engaging as possible for the viewers at home. All the drivers are on webcam, we have a great studio and the PRLX team have gone above and beyond to make sure there is a lot of faces on screen throughout the whole program. The drivers and personalities we have approached have been really positive of our vision for Sprintcar iRacing. Most aren’t tech savvy but are willing to have a crack for iCOT. We have done a bunch of testing this last month and we are finally ready to let it rip for real. 23.01.2022 NORTHLINE TO FIRE INTO LIFE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY Speedway will quiet remarkably return to the top end in October with the Northline Speedway in Darwin set to host... a big night of action. After the Darwin Speedway Riders & Drivers Association made the tough decision to cancel the entire 2020 season back in May, hopes were dashed that the venue would see any racing during the dry season in the Northern Territory. In the passing weeks and with the continuation of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, enthuiasm for the sport of Speedway in Darwin has returned. The Darwin Junior Sedans Incorporated are largely responsible for the race meeting to occur on Saturday 10th October 2020 at the Northline Speedway, as SSA Junior Sedans are seeing growth in the region due to some great promotion in recent times. SSA Junior Sedans & SSA Street Stocks from Darwin have spent the season racing at the neighbouring Katherine Speedway with local competitiors eager to have at least one hitout on home turf in 2020. For more information regarding the "One Off Speedway Night" event please find Darwin Junior Sedans on Facebook. Darwin Junior Sedans

12.01.2022 To all Wingless Sprint Car Owners, In light of the COVID-19 world we are living in, the AWSR Committee has agreed that we should be helping out our car owners i...n some form. AWSR are therefore going to offer a reduced registration fee for the 20/21 racing season. This is of course for the AWSR portion of the registration costs only, as the SCCA portion of the fees currently remains the same. Therefore the season 20/21 total registration cost will be $200 (inclusive of SCCA fees) plus any stripe admin fees. This fee change will take effect on the AWSR Website from Midnight this Friday 23rd October 2020 AEDST. Those who have registered their Wingless Sprints already this season, will now be given a partial refund of $195 in the weeks following the activation date of the new registration fee amount. AWSR hopes that this small gesture helps out our car owners in some way, and that we all stay safe and can get back racing as soon as possible in your respective states. Any questions please email [email protected] Sincerely the AWSR Committee.
