18.01.2022 Photos of a recent orthopaedic surgery that was conducted by Dr. John Barrett, our main surgeon. This is the surgical setup for a procedure for a ruptured cruciate ligament (a common injury to any active dogs). If your dog seems to be limping suddenly or is in any pain, do not hesitate to call the clinic and arrange a consult with Dr. John!

01.01.2022 There has been a recent spike in positive cases of Panleukopenia (feline parvovirus) in cats all around Adelaide. Please make sure your cats are up to date with all vaccinations, as this is an effective protection against this highly contagious and potentially deadly virus. It is spread via direct contact with infected cats secretions such as faeces, blood or from contaminated surfaces such as bowls or clothing that has been in contact with the virus. Clinical signs are dep...ression, loss of appetite, high fever, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea and dehydration. Although, in rare cases the infection can be fatal in the absence of clinical signs. (Be advised this disease carries an incredibly high mortality rate). If your cat is displaying any of these symptoms, please seek veterinary treatment immediately. And call the clinic on 08 8362 0831. Vaccination is the best protection! Please contact your clinic if you are unsure if your cat has received an F3 vaccine in the last 12 months.
