12.01.2022 These well worn kitchen cupboards had been painted with flat red paint. Impossible to clean and ...Really? I replaced all the doors and fitted soft close hinges and chrome door knobs. Once finished, the painter looked after the rest with white gloss paint - Big improvement ! #newcupboarddoors, #kitchencupboard #cheapkitchenupgrade

08.01.2022 RISING DAMP The paint was bubbling off this buildings walls. Most likely cause was rising damp causing mineral salts to exude from the masonary, so before repainting we installed a chemical damp course. This is a silicon based penetrant which soaks into the bricks and mortar and provides a waterproof barrier. #risingdamp, #dampcourse, #chemicaldampcourse

02.01.2022 The gas meter here needed a new cover so I built this in treated pine and marine ply. I poured a new slab and set the marine ply up off it to allow air to circulate from the bottom. This will last for decades as long as the paint is kept in good condition
