We have a wonderful facility in Tumbarumba in the guise of Radio Upper Murray 3RUM broadcasting on the FM band at 107.7. This is your community radio station and allows members of our community to broadcast their favourite music and news across the airwaves. We are developing a training program introduction to Presenting ...to be delivered as a Zoom session at the Studios located at Tumbarumba Showground in the basketball stadium. Dates for the training session will be available soon but will be timed to meet the requirements of interested people. Would you like a career in radio or television? Learn the basics of presenting and if you are interested in going further, we are also developing an accredited course in broadcasting in association with NSW TAFE. 07.01.2022 LINEYS ON THEIR WAY TO CORRYONG Over 30 local lineys have jumped on a C-27J Spartan with the Royal Australian Air Force to get into fire-ravaged Corryong toda...y to help restore power. They’ll be working up here for weeks to get the community back on track. Having the plane means they don’t have to spend hours on the road travelling to the site each day, making restoration quicker and easier.

05.01.2022 Ventured out into the fire grounds today to capture some images of how the Aussie bush responds to fire, and the way it regenerates itself and comes back to lif...e. Even without any rain, life bursts through the burnt bark from the heart of the trees and the life cycle begins again ....................... All images shot hand held with Fuji X-E3 and 18 - 135mm lens, my favourite walk around kit ........... These images were captured in the Kulnura area on the Central Coast, and I'm happy for anyone to share this post. ........ it's so heartening to see the Bush coming back to life again .......... Fire is burning into private property around Merrells Road, Hammonds Road and Holstons. - It is too late to leave. - This fire is threatening homes and lives. You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. The safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately. It is too late to leave. This fire will cross the Great Alpine Road and residents in Tambo Crossing and Wattle Circle should NOT travel north towards Swifts Creek.
