21.01.2022 Platform Arts’ ensemble infinity will premiere their new video work ‘Anything & Everything’ with The Substation on December 10. From their rooms via the internet, nine artists aged 9 - 26 talk about anything and everything - from intimacy to goldfish, to TV shows with protagonists who end up ‘finding themselves’. They repurpose video conferencing software to create a smashed-up live-streaming event where awkward dance sequences, tacky video effects, and video grabs collide wi...th brazen discussion. Led by ensemble director Jackson Castiglione, Anything & Everything is the first major work by Platform Arts’ ensemble group, infinity. Tickets now on sale: platformarts.org.au/platform-ensemble

09.01.2022 A huge congratulations from us to Ballarat International Foto Biennale for gaining funds to create a new National Centre for Photography in Ballarat. "This is ...a very exciting day for the Ballarat International Photo Biennale and one that we have been working towards for well over 2 years. We are extremely grateful to the Andrews Government and to our local member Juliana Addison. This money is a real investment in culture - it directly supports the arts in regional Victoria and will no doubt generate significant visitation to Ballarat. We secured the Union Bank building in 2018 with the support of private investors and we wouldn't be here today if they didn't share the same vision we did. We are so pleased that the National Centre For Photography and its state-of-the art digital gallery space will become a reality." - Artistic Director, Fiona Sweet We look forward to visiting once complete!
