25.01.2022 How amazing am I feeling right now. One of the beautiful areas of my work and growth has been the heartisan work of Robbi Zeck. I first saw her beautiful book "The Blossoming Heart" over ten years ago and have taken it with me everywhere since. I have used this book in my own way for years until two years ago I was finally able to attend my first Aromatic-Kinesiology Training and it was beyond any of my expectations. I have taken my learning from this training and used it dur...ing some very difficult times and have personally experienced the treasure of my love of aromatherapy and the gift of kinesiology as i have worked on finding, healing and growing my heart. I have now completed Level 1, 2 and 3 and am working on my certification. I can't wait to share this beautiful work with you in the near future. 24.01.2022 I'm feeling pretty crappy today....actually, this has been going on for a while. This rollercoaster called life. Can you relate? Some days you're on top of it and you think "I've finally got all this S#*t together" only to find yourself in a free fall in coming days. You're not alone, just as I'm not alone. But it can feel very lonely in those moments (that sometimes feel like they go on forever).... One thing that we can do is change the script we are telling ourselves. NO, it doesn't change what is going on in life. But for those few minutes we redirect our focus and find ourselves able to breathe again. As simple as it sounds, in those crappy moments you will want to fight, kick and scream (or is that just me?). We are not comfortable with what we are dealing with and to change that even for a moment can feel too overwhelming. But give it a go. I'll be refocusing on this too. Will you join me this week in taking a moment each day, or more frequently throughout the day if you feel drawn to it and doing the following... Take a deep breath, and think of three (3) things you are grateful for and write them down...anything...it may be that you have fresh air to breathe, or that you have a roof over your head. Some days what you are grateful for will come flooding in, other days will be more challenging. On the challenging days look back over what you have written down to boost you up. And always remember how wonderful, beautiful and precious you are. You are always one of the things I am grateful for...here sharing this journey from it's infancy.

23.01.2022 Stress is a big player in our health and well-being, and also the many hormonal imbalances. But stress is not all bad. It has an important role to play in our lives and survival. Unfortunately for many of us though the stress keeps coming with one thing after another without giving us time to recover before the next wave of stress comes in. Stress Maintenance is about learning ways to deal with and even minimise the stress in our lives. By learning and practising a variety of techniques you can explore what works best for you and know what to use when you need it the most.

With mental health impacting many families and individuals daily it's time to rid the stigma, have positive conversations and stand together. 21.01.2022 When you can't sleep, rest is just as good. One of the most important acts of self-care you can do for yourself is to rest when your body, mind or both need it. When overwhelm, stress, anxiety, self-doubt, worry and confusion seem to plague your day your nervous system is operating in the fight-flight-freeze state and if you stay in this state for an extended period of time you will burnout. Once you burnout you will have no option but to rest.... Rest is Medicine - include it in your regular self-care.

21.01.2022 Once you have decided to join a Lifestyle Therapies program your sessions are guided by the results you wish to achieve but will follow a simple platform. We will meet online or in person every two (2) weeks for 50-minutes. Two weeks allows you time to implement and try out the suggestions we decide on in your session. If you have questions during this time you are invited to email me for further clarification. The first weeks are focused on finding your baseline, so that we ...can identify variations and milestones throughout your program. This is where you will learn to become your own detective and scientist. The following weeks take on the direction that you most wish to work on. This is your program and guided by you. Through our discussions we will identify the area that will have the most impact for your goals. This is important, as it gives you the momentum and enthusiasm to keep going. Your program and progress will vary from others and include a good dose of looking after you. The most important thing you can do for you and the people you love, is take good care of you, and that's what we aim to do in all our programs at Lifestyle Therapies. 19.01.2022 I had a lovely day recently exploring the elements of Aromatic Mind with a beautiful friend. During this time we played with aromatic spices to create our own chai blend...delicious, indulged in an aromatic ritual that embraced our time of mindfulness in a beautiful natural setting...bliss, before completing our time with connection and sharing, our hearts full. In the busyness of life this was a truly welcome pause. We both parted ways calmer of mind, engaged in the present and hearts open. Aromatic Mind is a weekly gathering I will be launching shortly. Each week will contain different elements, but the underlying essence will remain the same ~ to engage your senses, calm your mind, fill your heart. 19.01.2022 I started playing and learning about the beautiful qualities of the aromatic therapeutic essential oils back in the early 90s. Over the years I have used and learnt much about them and continue to be amazed at the benefits individuals can find in the purity of nature. I have been an Aromatherapist for over a decade now and am grateful for my wonderful training and hands on experience that it allowed me. Part of which was learning to create my own products and deliver the bea...utiful Michelline Arcier Aromatherapy Massage. This is a beautifully relaxing and recharging sequence that leaves you feeling blissfully at peace. Aromatherapy is also a beautiful way to incorporate self-care into your daily routine. This is one of my favourite things to share and I often speak of How do I want to feel today? because that is what is possible, and it never hurts to have a helping hand so we can feel good every day. I continue to learn and grow my knowledge and am currently working towards my certification in Aromatic Kinesiology. This is a beautiful addition to the offerings at Lifestyle Therapies. 19.01.2022 What I love about weekends, after a week at work is the time to get out in nature and recharge. There is nothing quite like nature to calm the mind, energise the body and put things in perspective. How do you like getting out in nature?

19.01.2022 There are many forms of Flower Essences in the world. The most common modern essences being the Bach Flowers. But have you tried Australian Bush Flower Essences? If not, you are in for a real treat. I first heard about them in the mid 90s and attended my first training in 1997. The amazing thing about the essences is that as our planet evolves so does the gift of the essences. They have many uses and benefits but are especially effective on the emotional level. Remembering t...hat long term emotional issues can develop into physical conditions. Over the years as people have used these essences new qualities are learnt. I was fortunate to attend another training in 2008 and am currently doing another refresher to update myself again. Australian Bush Flower Essences are a great companion to many aspects of your life, and I look forward to sharing them with you during your program or in an individual consultation.

18.01.2022 Over 7 years ago after an injury that had living in constant pain I found myself searching for a new normal. During that search I found Health Coaching and I ha...d an instant feeling of being home. It complemented all that I had trained in and worked without reminding me of what I had lost. During this time I met some beautiful people, some of whom I still have contact with today. It hasn't always been smooth sailing, but it has always brought me joy. Being able to work with people and see them shine makes my heart sing. I feel alive and living my purpose. Sometimes in the shadow of darkness we step into the light. 14.01.2022 If you've been following me on this page for a while you may have picked up that I am a big believer in the beauty of laughter. I know that there are many times in our lives when the last thing we feel like doing is laughing, and that's okay. But wherever you can and whenever you can, try having a laugh. It is good for your soul and changes the energy of your body regardless of what is happening in your day. That is one of the beautiful things about laughing. Your body doesn't care if it's real or pretend. It acknowledges you laughing and gives you credit. So what are you waiting for?

14.01.2022 Through struggle we grow, often in directions we didn't know existed. But sometimes, that is just where we need to be. Tomorrow I will begin a week of sharing with you some of what I do through lifestyle therapies. It is through moments of growth that I have landed here at this time. 14.01.2022 Addressing both areas provides optimal health. Only acknowledging either mental or physical health often leaves a person feeling incomplete. What is wrong with me? Why can't I be ...?... There is nothing wrong, unfortunately the system is flawed and can seem to keep things separated. But as humans we are not separated. Our physical body is impacted by our mental body and visa versa because we are integrated, connected human beings. The quest to live your best life is in your hands and although each of us is unique, we are also the same. By acknowledging that your mental and physical health are a package deal you have a better chance of finding a life pathway that is the right fit for you.

10.01.2022 We hear a lot about mindfulness and meditation and the many benefits, which are not to be ignored. You may have even noticed there are also a lot of different ways that you can bring mindfulness into your life, and it really is about finding what works best for you. Personally, I enjoy mindful movement most of the time, but other times I need a peaceful practice that allows me to connect fully with my body especially when I find myself living constantly in my head. But I do b...elieve there is something for everyone and it is a practice that can benefit your hormones, stress and overall well-being. Kichido is a gentle yet effective way of combining breath and movement in the present moment giving you many benefits in your daily life. How else would you know that your day is amazing if you didn't experience a less than an amazing day, and how would you know that that less than amazing day is not how all days are if you never experienced a wonderful day. No matter where you are today on the spectrum of days, be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to laugh if you feel like it and don't be afraid to cry if it all feels too much. Today is made up of many moments, embrace each one and nurture your heart regardless of your position today. Because the beauty of each day is that you get to start afresh each and every morning. 06.01.2022 Yoga! Are you a fan? One thing I notice when I speak with potential clients in a discovery session is that many of them think that they have to do yoga to be healthy. Sadly because they can't get their head around diet, movement, self-care and yoga they get stuck and don't do anything. We all know that yoga has many wholistic benefits, but do we all realise how many ways there are that we can partake in yoga?... I have done yoga from time to time and have enjoyed most of what it has to offer. But there are some styles of yoga that I can't do and I don't let that define me or the belief that I can't do yoga. During times of high stress and trauma I absolutely adored restorative yoga, as I got stronger Yin was the perfect fit. Yoga has the ability to change with you as life changes, and every "body" is able to do yoga. Again you just have to find the right class and instructor for you. Two simple yoga forms I love to do are legs up the wall and laughter yoga. If you do yoga, what do you love? If you have thought about doing yoga, what is it you are drawn to? 03.01.2022 The last two months have seen many twists and turns. One step forward three at least back. I was trying hard to be everything to everyone and not living up to my own expectations. Even now I sometimes fall back into this trap. I had to step back, reassess and be real about what I can do and still remain true to myself. So this month, as we head into spring, a time of regeneration, fresh starts and clearing out what doesn't serve any more i will be holding this thought front and centre. I will be proudly doing life perfectly imperfect. Who's IN?

03.01.2022 Hormonesyou either love them or you hate them. But they are vital to your day to day living. As a mother of four daughters I was horrified when I first started learning about hormonal health. It was a long way from what I had been taught as a girl and so many of my conditions could have been eased had I had more knowledge around me. Having eased or eliminated my hormonal struggles, I felt the need to expand my hormonal knowledge across the female lifespan from puberty to po...st menopause. The side effects of hormonal imbalances can create havoc in our lives and leave us feeling, for want of a better word, Yucky! Lifestyle can play a large part in it, and once we have addressed this you have a clearer view of what is really going on, so what have you got to lose? I look forward to helping you get your hormonal health back and sharing some other programs in the future.

03.01.2022 Some weeks, by the time I make it to Friday I am feeling a little worn down and grateful for the weekend. If you feel the same take the time to notice your breath, especially the top and bottom of your in and out breathing, that's where the magic is. Happy Friday everyone.

03.01.2022 It's easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and think we should be somewhere other than where we are. I know I have been known to do this often, especially as my children have grown and I have also apparently got older. I have come to the conclusion that this is part of my growth and journey. Dreams and the wants to feel better in our precious life and have more life experiences keeps us going. But taking the time to enjoy where we are and recognising that life is a journey that we are all on allows us to step back from the pressure we place on ourselves. The destination for all of us in the same, and we shouldn't be in a hurry to get there. The destination is not that new car, holiday or massage - these are all part of the journey. So get in, sit back and enjoy the ride. Where is your journey leading you next?
