07.01.2022 Hi Ruedisma Latin dance co, I am the Producer of an upcoming short film created by students of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). We are currently scouting for a Latino male to play an acting/dancing role in the film. We are reaching out to Latin dance schools in the hope that you may know any students/dancers interested in taking the role. The film’s synopsis is as followed... The film follows Alba as she is about to compete in the finals of a Marinera dance competition partnered together with her ex boyfriend, a man she still loves. Marinera, a traditional Peruvian dance, is a performance of flirtation and desire, but what does it cost the recently separated couple to conjure up these emotions? On the night of the competition, Alba will discover truths about her partner and reveal the strengths within herself. The part we are looking for is Alba’s love interest, Matteo MATTEO - Aged 18-28 (Latin Background Only) Matteo charms his way through life with a magnetic allure. Emotionally manipulative and deeply passionate, he is the protagonist’s first love. As this is a student film, this role is UNPAID. Shooting dates are 3rd-7th October.
