20.01.2022 Our Kinders visited Parkridge Primary School today. They enjoyed the walk to the Big School , commenting about numerous things including the cars on the road, the school veggie patch etc. We had a warm welcome from the Preps as we sat down with them at their group time. The book read to them today was Bonnie and Ben Rhyme Again, touching on our favourite nursery rhymes. The collaborative artwork that followed is featured below. ... Thank you Parkridge for having us!

18.01.2022 Celebrating National Tree Day Silkwood Stars Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre At Silkwood Stars, we strive to teach our children about sustainability and how to take care of our planet. This term, our educators focus was on learning about planet Earth. Children started exploring more about our home in space along with educators through a variety of mediums. Together educators and children started veggie patches and started learning about the significance of the plants and trees. That lead children to enquire about the natural environment of Earth andhow to care for it.

18.01.2022 November has been a busy month at Silkwood Stars with celebrations of the Melbourne Cup, Diwali and Remembrance Day. It also incuded our keen garderners picking and tasting their strawberry crop.
