25.01.2022 The children have been learning about dinosaurs. They have been learning through arts and crafts, music and movement, cooking, story telling, excavating and role playing. The environment was changed to be dinosaur friendly with posters, dinosaur books and pictures. Our centre was loud with roaring, stomping and munching dinosaurs! How scary!

21.01.2022 Play is really the work of childhood.

02.01.2022 Last month the children were so busy exploring and learning about Space! The astronomers and astronauts were learning about the solar system, stars that twinkle at night, the hot sun which lights the moon at night, through many planned activities. We played memory space card games, Space yoga, created our own miniature astronauts and aliens. We created many textures such as moon dough, space play dough, moon sand and created a rocket ship to take us to the moon!

01.01.2022 Spring time at The Learning House is so magical! We were so busy exploring and investigating our garden. We planted seedlings in passion fruit cups, planted vegetables and flowers such as carrots, cucumbers, radish and sunflowers. The butterfly children Looked at Van Gogh's painting of sunflowers as inspiration for their own paintings. We created Spring stamping, hedgehog grass heads and observing our bees pollinate. We sure were busy bees. :)
