These advanced chips are essential to country’s economy, national security, and critical infrastructure. The supply risk increases as the demand for digital products increased rapidly with more people working from home, and with more products becoming digitally connected, ranging from automobile to mobile devices and vaccume cleaners. Many companies across industries are now facing acute shortage of chips. This happens at the same time when raw materials and shipping costs undergoing rapid and huge price increases.
