25.01.2022 TACTICAL WARFARE #9 OPERATION SNOW Channel 8 - Breaking News The Australian Government have ruled out any military action by Australian ground forces in Indonesia. ... Government Media spokesman Julian Rickard had this to say, The Australian AFP and ASIO are working hand in hand with their Indonesian counterparts to put a stop to the flow of illegal drugs coming into Australia. The Indonesian Jungle is a large place and the task of tracking down the drug labs is formidable, but we are confident that this task will be achieved. This however doesn’t explain the movement of units from The Special Air Service Regiment and 2nd Commando Company from Perth and NSW to Darwin. This increase in training and the mobilization of these units to a staging point close to Indonesia lead lead this reporter to believe that the Australian Special Operations Command are preparing for a role in this potential conflict.

24.01.2022 October Tactical War Game 1 - The Big Push PAINT STORM Australian Spec Ops have landed in the Jungles of Indonesia and are moving in force towards the local Drug Cartel’s strong point. The Cartel have mobilized all of their mercenaries and local gunmen and are moving out to drive the Aussies back.... It’s time for Tac War 9. As soon as your split into your teams and squads it will be straight into an all-out 160 man paint flying battle with the losing team being pushed back into their single life zone. Will the Aussie Spec Ops deal a decisive blow or will the Drug Cartel draw first blood? Objectives Blue Team (Australian Spec Ops) Start at the Fort and push forward towards Omaha Bridge to engage the Red Team (Drug Cartel). Push the Red team back around the field through the Compound, Shipping Yard and the Wrecking Yard and then down into the snipers field. Red Team (Drug Cartel) Start at Omaha Bridge and push forward towards the Fort to engage the Blue Team (Australian Spec Ops). Push the Blue team back around the field through the Fort and Jungle Town then down past the Intel Site. Both teams will have two inflatable speed ball cans as their respawns. These respawns will stay 30 meters behind the line of contact. The Blue Teams respawns will become void and disappear if they are pushed back to the Intel Site. The Red teams respawns will become void and disappear if they are pushed back to the road bellow the Wrecking Yard. Once a team’s respawn disappears they can no longer respawn and are on single life. Each team commander will be given two Air Strikes to call in, any player in a 10 meter radius will have to go back and respawn. The Fort and Compound are in use but if an attacking team by passes and goes around them the defending teams respawns will be pushed back, you don’t have to clear structures just keep the line of contact moving. All forces must move around the FOB. Blue clockwise and Red counter clockwise. You cannot go around the FOB and attack an opposing force from behind.

15.01.2022 TACTICAL WAR 8 We are planning on using the helicopter as fire support and to drop teams of three into the field behind enemy lines. These tree man teams can then attack the opposing side from the rear. These Helo insertions will be, pending weather available for both Red and Blue teams throughout the first game. There will be a fee involved to recoup the cost of hiring the Helo. If you are interested put up a comment. Will confirm costs with Jack Carew and Ben Carew.

12.01.2022 August TAC WAR Mission One - High Value Target (HVT) Snatch and Grab Intel has come in with the location of a high ranking member of the Taliban. Three US SEAL teams have been tasked with the capture and extraction of the HVT. Special Operations air support will be on station for 30 min and can provide behind enemy line helo insertions of US three man teams. 10.01.2022 TACTICAL WARFARE #9 OPERATION SNOW Channel 8 - Breaking News Federal Government and Military sources have confirmed that Australia is being flooded with cheap Heroin. Reports from the Australian Federal Police as well as Customs show that although there has been a dramatic rise in drug seizures, there has also been a corresponding increase in the volume of narcotics that are getting through. ... Confidential sources have told this station that the increase in supply seems to be originating from Indonesia and being smuggled into Australia by boat. Independent Naval interdiction, search and seizure reports by the Australian Navy would seem to support this. The Australian Government through the AFP are assisting the Indonesian Government with intelligence gathering and the investigation into the location and operation of the drug manufacturing plants. At this stage there has been no comment on whether the Australian government will commit any ground forces and if they were in what capacity.

05.01.2022 TACTICAL WARFARE #9 OPERATION SNOW It has been confirmed that an Australian Federal Police Officer is missing in Indonesia. Members of the AFP have been actively assisting local Indonesian Drug Enforcement as well as Indonesian military units to track down and eliminate the growing Drug Cartels operating in the jungles of Indonesia. It is not clear if the unnamed AFP officer has been killed or captured by the one of the Cartels and how this occurred. The Australian government... have now mobilized a strike force operating under the Australian Special Operations Command. Government Media spokesman Julian Rickard had this to say, Australia will not tolerate the unlawful assault and or detainment of its law enforcement personnel. The AFP were acting in an approved manner in accordance with the local laws and hand in hand with local Indonesian law enforcement. The Cartel involved must return our AFP Officer or we will insert ground troops to eliminate any and all Cartels operating in the area. It is believed that the Australian Special Operations Task Force is set to land in Indonesia on the 1st of October.

03.01.2022 Due to Covid we have struggled to get numbers for Tac War Apocalypse on the 22nd Nov (we need at least 40+). For this reason we have decided to postpone the event and instead host a 7 man mechanical bushball tournament. Tac War Apocalypse will be back Sun 4th May 2021!
