25.01.2022 Here's a nice big shed finished off today in Mount Compass, with the two larger doors in the middle fitted with planetary chain drives to make opening and closing much easier.

25.01.2022 Today we installed a new automatic roller door to a property, and the customer had a great idea of reusing the old roller door (which had been impacted by a vehicle) to the rear of his opening. With a little bit of panel beating and a good service of the old door its back to functioning great again, and he now has a fully enclosed garage! 24.01.2022 We went for a "little" drive yesterday out to Goolwa to install these two 2.7m high x 5.1m wide roller doors. This is a perfect example of maximizing your opening to get the best use out of your shed!

22.01.2022 Here we have an install from today which started out as a bare opening. First we built the frame, along with flashings and a little connector to the fence. 21.01.2022 This customer has unfortunately been dealing with people with no fixed address setting up camp in their shared carport. As you can see, it's being constantly left in a pretty bad state. So, they have decided to totally strip the existing garage (walls and all) and start again.. This time running sheets much higher, installing a fully automated garage door and also a nice sturdy rear gate for personal access. Not only is it an improvement on the over-all look, it has totally closed their property in and can now be used as intended.

Here's a few of this week's installs, including the classic cream roller door with a tapered bottom to suit the slope in the concrete floor, which assists with keeping all the leaves and water out of your garage. 20.01.2022 Today's installation of a fully automated Steel Line sectional door with smart phone compatibility to finish off this garage extension.

19.01.2022 This is what can potentially happen when the cables on your sectional door are past their used by date. If you look closely at the left photo, you'll see the bottom of the panel is collapsed and out of shape. This occurred when the cables snapped at a height, and the door came slamming down. Lucky nobody got hurt. We replaced the bottom panel only, reducing the overall cost to the customer and you can't even tell there was ever an issue. If you notice that your cables are frayed, feel free to give us a call for full replacement and service of your door and motor.

12.01.2022 We think these old gates look great, but unfortunately they were getting quite hard to open and they are not very private. We started by removing the old stuff and installing the Classic Cream auto roller door which has brightened up the house. Now this customer can come home and drive straight in, avoiding the rain and struggling with those heavy gates.

12.01.2022 It's been a busy Sunday with a couple of cable jobs on Sectional doors. In my previous post I spoke about what can happen if cables break or slip off due to lack of servicing. This picture is a good example of what could occur. The door was stuck in this position, trapping the vehicles in and leaving it unsecure. We service all areas and all brands, so don't hesitate to contact us regarding a check over and general service of your garage door.

12.01.2022 Out with the old and in with the new! Existing door and internal frame ripped out, leaving behind the external cladding. A new post either side tied back into said cladding, along with a new automated roller door. No more getting out in the rain for this customer!

09.01.2022 This sectional door suffered a nice little knock to the middle of the second panel. We were able to change out the one panel and bring it back to a presentable state. This process is usually very easy and alot cheaper than changing the entire door, provided there is no colour fade to the existing surrounding panels.

09.01.2022 Do your sectional/panel door cables look like this? If the answer is yes, then it is running a risk of breaking and potentially destroying your door, or at very least trapping your car in or out. These cables run up either side of your door and in most cases, are fairly easy to see. So of you're out in the garage and happen to remember, have a quick look. They are no trouble to change, and we can always do them on the day for you, along with a general service and lubrication. Lucky thing that this customer had us out to change the springs when we noticed this.

07.01.2022 Another quality install completed today. Our customer had a frame installed and wanted something a little easier and more secure. So we have set her up with a fully automated zinc roller door to fit in with her existing shed, which really looks the part. 04.01.2022 Today we removed these old heavy counter weight tilt doors which were approximately 40 years old! We then installed new automatic roller doors in their place with a slight colour change to boost aesthetics.

04.01.2022 It always looks great having a roller door mounted beyond the ceiling. Just remember to take after care into consideration. This door needed some adjusting and lubrication, and we ended up having to have access panels installed in order to get to it, as the suspended ceiling would not have held our weight. 03.01.2022 We've been a bit quiet on social media lately but that hasn't stopped us from continuing to satisfy customers! Here's a few jobs completed in recent weeks. With the warmer weather on its way, alot of people are choosing to automate their existing garage doors to avoid getting out in the heat to lift the door by hand, which tends to get fairly hot during the summer months. 03.01.2022 This would just about have to be the narrowest roller door we've installed at 950mm wide. It makes a great substitute for an access door, and being automated means no more trying to open doors with your hands full.

02.01.2022 Have you been told that you need to buy a whole new door due to a snapped spring? In most cases, we can replace springs and rebuild the door (provided they are in good enough condition). This customer's roller doors are 30 years old, and are Mission Brown, a colour that is no longer available. If they replace one, sure enough they'll have to replace the other to match. We supplied and installed new springs to the existing door at a fraction of the cost of even one door, let alone the replacement of two. Keep us in mind the next time your garage door decides to play up

02.01.2022 Here we have a 2.7 high roller door in Manor Red, installed for caravan access and lock up. If you have toys left outside, do yourself a favor and get them locked away. This customer will sleep alot easier knowing that their pride and joy is safely locked away!
