23.01.2022 Sometimes we may get upset when life doesnt go the way we want it to go. Im so glad that my life didnt go the way I wanted it to go. There have been countless times when I didnt get what I wanted and it was because I didnt get it that I had the opportunity to get something even better suited to me than what Id hoped. Never in my wildest dreams would I expect my life to be what it is today. The last 10 years has been such an incredible journey of growth and change for m...e. As this decade comes to a close, I face the new decade with open arms and an open heart, to face whatever may be in store for me in the years to come. May the next decade be a memorable and inspiring one for you. May you have strength and wisdom to face whatever this decade brings to you! Love, Tina

19.01.2022 So glad to know that we can continue to witness our client's documents by video rather than in person. It's helped clients enormously in safety and convenience. Those who need to sign documents may not be in NSW, and this video witnessing allows me to video conference them into our meetings. Even though the meeting is done in person, but we ensure all proper protocols are in place to meet the requirements for witnessing the documents electronically.

17.01.2022 Really enjoyed my time emceeing at the MITRA Youth Buddhist Network Conference for two days last weekend at UTS: University of Technology Sydney. Such a precious opportunity to be a part of such a gathering of Buddhist teachers, monastics, practitioners, devotees, friends and spiritual seekers!

16.01.2022 Really enjoyed my time today as a guest lecturer for the Master of Arts - Applied Buddhist Studies talking about interpersonal relationships and drawing on my experience of bringing Buddhism into my life as a lawyer, mediator and lay Buddhist woman. I was so impressed by the staff and students at Nan Tien Institute of Higher Education, so dedicated to sharing and learning Humanistic Buddhism. Check out their offerings and courses here: https://www.nantien.edu.au/

13.01.2022 Have you noticed women often attribute their success to luck? We are successful because were lucky to have people supporting us, or being at the right place at the right time, or just lucky. What underlies this narrative could be because we feel we need to be modest to be liked or to minimise our success to not come off arrogant. Jamila Rizvis speech today reminds us that successful women arent successful because were lucky. Were successful because were brilliant. So today on #internationalwomensday I hope all women will own our successes, because we earnt it, we worked hard for it, we deserve it and we should be proud of it! #bebrilliant #beyou #EachForEqual #IWD #ladyboss

12.01.2022 TRAFFIC is gone, LONG QUEUES are gone. FUEL is affordable, BILLS extended. KIDS are at home with their FAMILIES, PARENTS are home taking care of their CHILDREN. ... FAST FOOD replaced by HOME COOKED MEALS, hectic SCHEDULES replaced by NAPS. The AIR seems CLEANER, the WORLD QUIETER. PEOPLE are conscious about HYGIENE and HEALTH again. MONEY doesnt seem to make the WORLD GO ROUND anymore. And WE now have TIME, finally, to STOP and SMELL the ROSES. Finally We get to see womans real eyelashes, eyebrows and hair colour It seems like this COVID-19 is a RESET BUTTON for HUMANITY!!! #copypaste

11.01.2022 Coffee on the go... literally!

11.01.2022 Making most of the final days of Sculptures By The Sea 2019

11.01.2022 In some courses that I run, I talk about the importance of skillfully expressing gratitude, wants and requests (as opposed to demands). The adult participants often express their challenges in doing this for various reasons, and we work through these challenges in our sessions. Yesterday, Jayden showed me this is a skill hes naturally talented with! He then went to show me a picture of the Hot Wheels slide and said to me its on sale on Friday for only $39! #kidswisdom #assertiveness #nonviolentcommunication #nvc #xmasiscoming #xmaspresents

10.01.2022 Climate is always changing, but the change is happening at unprecedented rates due to the actions and inactions of the human species. Can we work together to save our precious planet so many more generations of human and non- human species can live safely on this planet? #climatecrisis #havetheconversation #climatechange #savetheworld #knowthefacts

10.01.2022 Happy New Decade everyone! My dad took this photo of me over 3 decades ago, while my mother watches on. Since that time, they watched on as I grew up to make a life of my own, while I watched my parents get older. Time passes so quickly. Whether we spend that time happy, sad, angry, grateful, lost, focused, stressed, and so forth... Time still passes regardless. As the new decade arrives, I reflect on the decades already passed, for myself and my loved ones, and hope that I choose wisely how to spend this coming decade. Time is indeed precious. Make the time for what is important and for the people who are important (including ourselves). May you treasure your time, live it fully and pass it well!

01.01.2022 This periscope sculpture (Joel Adlers Viewfinder) was amongst my favourite. So much of art - and life - is about changing the lens in which we view the world to shift and widen our perspectives. What one sees through this box is actually a reflection of the ocean below.
