23.01.2022 Dear Wagga Community, With the growing magnitude of the COVID-19 virus (Corona), we just wanted to try and reassure you that we are taking all measures, needed to make the BOWL as clean and safe as possible for our staff and customers, and working to prevent transmission of the virus to others and each other! 1. We are encouraging customers and our staff to wash their hands regularly and thoroughly on arrival and leaving the centre TIP: Sing happy birthday twice through as ...you wash your hands. Regular use of hand SANITISER: -We have plenty of hand sanitiser available for everybody to use as often as needed, which includes when arriving, as using The bowling balls, playing games and on leaving our centre. -We WIPE OUR BALLS We wipe our balls, ball racks, seats and finger holes regularly with disinfectant spray. We are keeping eye on the media at all times so we are on the ball with what’s happening. Maybe you can drop these at a party or shindig when you have nothing else to say... Did you know that in the 1900s bowling balls were made of wood?? And then later on they switched to rubber. It wasn’t till the 1960s that they moved to polyester resin which is when they made plastic balls with all the cool crazy colours and patterns you see today!
