There were laughs, a feed, stores, Dancing and singing through out the day and the night concert. Our Event had a wonderful turn out ! i would like to thank the ILT Graduates fo...r their persistance in helping out and volunteering their time, Liegh Harris who worked behind all the scenes to help promote our event, Semara Jose for all her hard work and effort put into the weeks coming up to this event, Jamaylya Ballangarry-Kearins for spending multiple nights with very little sleep to do the short film on the ILT graduates and Isaiah Turia aswell for helping out with the film, the Wuchopperen health Services for co-ordinating the entire event. 04.01.2022 Imagine if you had never been home. Sadly, many Wik children have never been to their own Country. They may have been told about where their family comes from, ...but they don’t have any real connection to their home yet. Later this month APN Cape York will return 30 Aurukun children to their Wik Traditional homelands for a four day experience that will help define their future. All Australians can help.
