23.01.2022 Dear Warriors family, As you have most likely heard from local media and via our facebook page, the Under 9s competition has been cancelled for 2020. This is extremely disappointing for our club in what was to be our first season. However football will always be there, and the health & safety of our friends and families are our number one priority, and we will return better and stronger in 2021. For the older players we hope to get an age exemption for them to play next year... then move into the under 11s team in 2022. I am hoping to reboot Auskick & Net Set Go on Sunday 14th June (Pending permission) which is exciting, over 2 time slots (9:45am & 11am) and encourage all Warriors to attend and get a footy on their boots. The club also hopes to run some activities later in the year as well to keep the interest going and invite possible new members. I would like to thank you all for registering your child and supporting the club, as well as the committee for all their hard work. We will bounce back bigger and better in 2021! For now please keep safe and look forward to seeing all your faces running around the oval in the near future. 22.01.2022 Dear Auskicker’s, Parents, Carers and Friends, The Woady Yaloak Football Netball Club is welcoming back our Auskicker’s and Warriors this coming Sunday 19th July 2020 at the Haddon Oval. As a club and Auskick centre we understand that we must abide by recommendation outlined by the AFL to ensure the safety of all participants, coaches, volunteers, family and friends in regard to COVID 19.... Please see below the steps needed on the day; Those commencing 9:45am, please arrive by 9:30am Those commencing at 11am, please arrive by 10:55am When you arrive, please proceed to the clubrooms and sanitise your hands as well as your Auskicker hand sanitiser will be provided Please fill in the attendance sheet of those attending with you and all necessary details on form If you are volunteering on the day, please advise the COVID 19 rep and you will be directed accordingly Please remain clear of the oval to ensure we are meeting social distancing guidelines. For the 9:45am group, once completed, please ensure you vacate the area for the 2nd group Bring your own drink bottles Keep to the State and Federal Governments social distancing guidelines Other than the above we are all good to recommence. The toilets are available in the clubrooms as per normal one at a time, however there is no canteen. 10.01.2022 Auskick & Net Set Go (Woady Yaloak Haddon) Recommencement RE: COVID 19 Requirements Dear Auskicker’s, Parents, Carers and Friends,... Please see below the steps needed on the day; Change Rooms will be Closed, so Participants are to come dressed for Auskick or Net Set Go Toilet or medical use only. Strict social distancing applies. No sharing of drink bottles (label if possible), please bring own Water. There will be no Canteen available until further notice, please bring own fruit/snacks. There should be no mingling or play before or after Auskick or Net Set Go. Parents/Guardians will be encouraged to limit drop-off/pick-up to only one parent/guardian and other dependants as required and necessary. Parents/Guardians wishing to spectate are always requested to stay at least 1.5 meters apart and remain off the playing surface at all times unless volunteering. Parents/Guardians and participants will be required to hand sanitise on arrival and departure. On arrival all Parents/Guardians and participants will be required to provide their names and contact number for Covid-19 contact tracing as required by the AFL. On arrival all Parents/Guardians and participants will be required to have a contactless temperature check before being allowed entry to club facilities. We ask that all Parents/Guardians and volunteers download the COVID SAFE App before attending Auskick or Net Set Go if possible. 01.01.2022 Good morning Auskickers, family and friends, Good news! We have officially got the go - ahead from the AFL to recommence Auskick from the 13th July 2020, meaning we will commence our first Sunday back on Sunday 19th July 2020!! This is really good news for our community and more so our children. The football Club has a meeting on the 1st July to discuss and work out the details, however most likely sticking with the original plan of 2 groups of 10 at a time in the time slots... made available a few weeks ago. There will be restrictions and I will ensure everyone is up to date well before commencement. For those who have siblings doing Net Set Go we hope to have an announcement on that program as well. I for one am excited, the Woady Warriors FNC are excited and I look forward to seeing you all on the 19th July 2020 at Haddon Oval - the Home and Birthplace odf the Woady Warriors FNC! Registrations will open again from July 1st, please encourage your family and friends to come out and participate!
