Your contribution was noted as amazing!!

24.01.2022 Today we saw 6 of our youth be presented with the peak award in their sections. Eloise her Australian Scout Medallion and Amelia, Bec, Cecile, Jake & Liam their Queens Scout Awards. The amount of work that goes into these awards is phenomenal and from the Group we’d like to give you a massive BRAVO. So very proud of all of you and the many other youth members from around Queensland.

21.01.2022 BRAVO to Wallaby Patrol from our Scout Troop for taking out 3rd place at Operation Nighthawk 2019 last weekend!! With over 170 patrols in the Scout section, from all over Queensland, Wallaby, led by PL Amy, finished with a score of 527!!

20.01.2022 WSJ 2019 Australian Contingent departed Australia yesterday to make their way to the USA! Our Ashmore Venturers and Leader/Rover, Jake departed from Brisbane (along with our friends from Labrador and Greenbank Scout Group) to begin their adventure of a LIFETIME!! 19.01.2022 Scouting@Home for our Scout Troop tonight for their first offical night in Term Two! 22 Scouts in attendance! Tonight, the Troop are preparing for ANZAC Day this Saturday and working on their Their Service - Our Heritage badge with an Army Veteran, Clive, zooming in for a 30 minute chat. Afterwards, the Scouts will hold their own online service with the last post being played by one of our Venturers. The Scout Troop has been ZOOMING all through the holidays with backyard... boot camps, their own dedicated Minecraft server with Scouting challenges and backyard/lounge room camping challenges! Next week, on a separate night to their Troop night, 8 of them are starting an AusLan online program! Scouting@Home has helped the troop stay connected with likeminded youth throughout this different time. 14.01.2022 When the local SES is too busy after yesterday’s rain event to run their own fundraising bbq at Bunnings - they call in the Scouts to help so they can continue with their emergency support. BRAVO SCOUTS!! All monies raised today go towards the SES!

A great night with inactive bases, a scare maze and to finish, a disco and to eat all the treats the Cubs have made.

05.01.2022 From Friday Morning to Monday afternoon, 3 Patrols from our Scout Troop attended an annual event, SSS, at BP Park, Samford Valley! It's a competition camp based on a Patrol Challenge and Standard Camping. The weekend also included a large variety of activities and a trip to see the 2019 Brisbane Gang Show! All Patrols did amazingly well, even in the rain. Our SEAL Patrol, lead by Piper, took out 3rd position out of over 80 patrols! A massive BRAVO to SEAL!!!!!! We are... waiting for all the other results which we will share as soon as they're available! BRAVO Ashmore Scouts!!

05.01.2022 By agreeing to be the Patron of the Queensland Branch of the Scout Association of Australia shortly after being sworn in as Governor, His Excellency also accept...ed the honourable title of State Chief Scout. Earlier this week, the Chief Scout visited historic Baden-Powell Park in Samford to meet young adventurers participating in the 20th ‘Triple S’ Camp, where Scouts are scored on their camping skills, general skills and participation over the course of the weekend to compete for the SSS Shield and the Gateway Trophy.
