17.01.2022 WARNING LONG POST AHEAD Why having someone in charge of your wedding day is CRUCIAL?! Because it means that EVERY little detail will be EXACTLY as you want it to be and you wont have a single worry! NOW WHO WOULDNT WANT THAT! Yes a venue may physically place items on tables for you BUT will they do it to your liking... I am going to tell you a bit of a horror story and its not to scare you but to inform you. We had a wedding where we had asked a venue staff member to do a mock setting to ensure that it was to our standard annnnnd to my DISBELIEF the table was set with silver cutlery instead of gold, with the incorrect number of pieces and with the wrong napkin fold. CAN YOU IMAGINE! If we had of not been there the entire room could have portentously been set prior to someone portentously realizing the error made. Why does this matter if it gets fixed you ask? Because it means that the rest of the set up may run behind schedule, could be rushed, further mistakes could be made AND the photographer may not get the opportunity to photograph the space for the time required.
