How do we keep operating in such uncertain times whilst keeping our greatest asset our people safe and healthy. 1. HOW TO CLEAN AND SANITISE VEHICLES... Clean all common areas before and after a vehicle is used, such as: - Door handles (internal and external) - Boot lid - Internal handles above doors - Steering wheel - Seats - Dashboard - Seatbelts - Control buttons - Headrests - Gearstick - Grab handles - Cup holders - Window controls - Centre console While using the vehicle, the vehicles air-conditioning should be set to fresh air, not recirculated air. 2. 16.01.2022 COR (Chain of Responsibility) is very real and should be top priority for any business conducting work duties in or around vehicles. WOOLWORTHS forced to accept liabilty, pay hefty fines following an accident at one of there shopping centre loading docks! The man had fallen asleep in the stores loading dock area. He was run over by a subcontractors prime mover as it was leaving. The driver did not see him.... Both the freight company Glen Cameron Nominees and Woolworths were charged for the incident, each with breaching Section 32 of the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 for failing to comply with a health and safety duty. Glen Cameron nominees received a $154,000 fine in March for the incident. NT WorkSafe Acting Executive Director Melissa Garde said $1.6 million of Woolworths $1,793,500 enforceable undertaking will be spent on upgrading the infrastructure of back docks at all Woolworths stores in the Northern Territory. Woolworths has already spent $500,000 securing the loading dock at its Hibiscus Shopping Centre store, as well as other Woolworths loading docks in the Territory that were considered to be high risk. Being struck by a vehicle or other mobile plant like forklifts, is a major hazard in workplaces across the country, Ms Garde said. Shopping centres have a high level of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and the Hibiscus Shopping Centre loading dock was routinely used as a short cut. All retailers should look at their traffic management arrangements to ensure a similar incident doesnt occur at their workplace. Woolworths will also be required to spend more than $50,000 on research and development into technology for continuous controlled monitoring of loading docks, as well as develop a retail dock safety guide and deliver free industry presentations on traffic management risks. Also, $51,000 of the enforceable undertaking will be spent on the community, including a donation of 17 defibrillators to be distributed by St John Ambulance. Measuring performance accurately provides insight where you have not had it before. Above all it helps ensure compliance and grants access too tools that identifies risk and if you can identify something you can mitigate it too keeping the workplace safe for everyone!.... Remembering that the workplace is not just the office it is largely, in this day & age in and around a vehicle.

05.01.2022 FLEETTRAC SOLUTIONS SUPPORT TIPS iFace troubleshooting, Try this below, should there still be an issue present be sure to email the support desk for further help.... 1)Try charging the unit in another vehicle, using the other vehicles charger and cradle 2)Leaving the iFace attached to the cradle, try plugging a USB charge cable into the iFace mobile connector (see pic below) - this will require detaching the ball joint and screwed 3)power cable. The adapter will need to supply a minimum of 1.5A. This can also be done via the connector on iFace, but it is preferred to try the cradle first 1)Perform a hard reboot by holding down the power button for roughly 45 seconds (ignore any prompts on the screen to power-off/restart). The unit may turn back on, but if it does not, it will need to be charged for around 30 minutes, then try turning it back on. 2)Check to see if the vehicle multi-pin charging connection is loose 3)Check to see if any pins on the cradle are bent 4)Ensure that the tablet is firmly attached to the cradle 5)Try holding the power button and volume up buttons at the same time for a few seconds Performing these steps should give you enough information to determine whether its the charger, or the device.* Please keep in mind that mobile technicians do not fix tablet devices - Faulty iFaces must come back to the Transport team.
