25.01.2022 This is, by a long way, the highest Buy It Now price I've put on one of my auctions. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/323373454339

23.01.2022 A lovely and scarce stamp from the Falklands listed today. The Crown Registered cachet used at Fox Bay on stamp is very scarce https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/323400504524

23.01.2022 A lovely lot of Nigeria soaked and ready to go

23.01.2022 I've posted about this a few times lately, so I thought I'd add it here as well. If you want to see how colours look on a stamp, rather than comparing a colour swatch, THIS is the colour guide you need. They were printed from the 1920's to the 1940's and will set you back around ~$50 at auction

22.01.2022 I've had a lovely afternoon soaking Australian KGV heads off paper. There are worse ways to spend a few hours :)

21.01.2022 I love browsing through bundleware, but this is the best result I've had to date. Australia SG161 1936 2d South Australian Centenary with "smoking chimney" (BW171d). Catalogued at $1,250, a used example was sold by Prestige in 2016 for $650. Serious offers are welcome.

20.01.2022 I've listed some lovely Falklands material in the last few days :)

15.01.2022 Some stamps are worth getting a certificate for, even if you know they're genuine. This is Russia #1 on watermarked paper, with a square 115 dotted postmark of Mariupol, Ukraine.

13.01.2022 A cheaper and more efficient payment system is in development. Register your interest now, and, if it launches, you won't regret sending them your name and email address! Initiative Q is building a new payment network and giving away significant sums of their future currency to early adopters. Its by invite only and I have a limited number of invites. My personal invite link: https://initiativeq.com/invite/SNzy1Vpj7

13.01.2022 The 1982 Falklands (Malvinas) war created some incredible postal history. This is in my store now. It's a First Day usage of the Argentinian cancel, with the Falklands stamp being biro cancelled. These are exceedingly scarce, but I do consider offers, just not daft ones like the $60 I was just offered by a chap in the US! https://www.ebay.com.au//Falkland-Islands-6-/323853586067

13.01.2022 Happy Birthday to The Don. Born on this day in 1908.

11.01.2022 A lovely find, and very scarce!

11.01.2022 This will be the find of the year for me, I'm sure! I went to a suburban stamp fair today, and spotted this MH Falkland Islands 1933 1d Whaler. I snapped it up instantly for $24. It's SG129a, a variety discovered just a couple of years ago, with a CV of 1,500. It just goes to show that rare stamps are still up for grabs!

10.01.2022 There's a new stamp forum up and running, hosted by popular Melbourne dealer, Michael Eastick. It's called "Talking Stamps" and it's well worth a look http://www.talkingstamps.com/

02.01.2022 After 22 years with Ebay, I've decided to leave them. Their policies and fees are no longer acceptable to me. Whilst I also sell on Hipstamp, my new preferred platform is Ebid. Prices are much lower on Ebid, so why not take a look? https://stores.ebid.net/globalphilately... This stamp is $145 on Ebay and $117.45 on Ebid. You choose
