09.01.2022 Our community is made up of some pretty cool people Today, find out more about one of our support workers, Alan Guy! - ?... Since April 2019, so almost a year and a half. ? Going to the gym, competing in powerlifting, writing music and spending time with my friends, family and partner (who also works with Li-Ve Tas). - ? The flexibility and work-life balance is amazing, but the work would be nothing without the people we support. I have a background in hospitality, but working as a disability support worker is exactly what I'd been looking for. Every shift is different, and I've been lucky enough to build relationships, create memories and share a whole lot of laughs with some incredible people and their families.

Welcome BackPack provides women leaving prison with a backpack of basic essentials (toiletries, clothes and a card listing local support services) to help meet immediate needs and welcome them back into our community.

I came to the Lodge in September 1995 to iron clothes to earn extra money for Christmas. So it's 25 years this month! - ? I love the people, and really, thats what makes it more than a job. I have strong relationships with everyone here. Ive taken them on holidays and Ive been here when theyve been unwell.
