25.01.2022 Thanks so much to Sarah for organising a photo shoot voucher last Christmas for her brother Andrew and family! It was such a pleasure to work with them... and despite, or perhaps, because of a few emotional moments during our hour together, I was able to see a truly connected and nurturing family. Beautiful. I love what we were able to capture. Hope they enjoy this sneak peek and 'Auntie Sarah' and 'Uncle Dan' do too! xx

24.01.2022 I warmly encourage foothills locals to spend some time at the Eden Hills Kindy Art Exhibition today (open till 6pm) or tomorrow (sat 9am - 3pm) to see the creative beauty that comes out of this place each year. Ive just enjoyed done beautiful moments wandering around, purchased some pottery and enjoyed some Jen Lush live tunes on a Friday arvo! Perfect! Eugenia Neave

23.01.2022 Oh it was such a delight to work with this little golden girl at a 30min session just for her! Capturing her beautiful baby-ness just on the verge of turning 2. 23.01.2022 Oh Dads! Very occasionally you are the organiser of the family photo session... and many times you arrive prepared to tolerate it for the sake of others... but most times you leave with a smile on your face having cuddled, piggy-backed or laughed your way through the session. Pre-Covid you might have been lucky enough to get a cuddle from me too... those days will return! Sometimes you even skate-boarded, or were picked up by your 20 year old son! Happy Fathers Day to the n...ew dads and the not-so-new and the Grandpas who I havent been able to photograph quite so much this year but thankfully many are booked in in the months ahead! 21.01.2022 So wonderful to photograph a man today who worked as a photographer for the Messenger paper back in 1958! Oh the stories he could tell... And he watched with envy as I was able to check my photos on the back of the camera - he wished that technology existed back in the day. 21.01.2022 Spent most of today preparing a sample pack for parents to peruse at my local kindy, in readiness for portraits to commence in September. My little friend Bobby was a brilliant participant and the prints, presented in recycled card folder and envelope (in-keeping with the kindys sustainable practices) were very well received by the staff. 20.01.2022 Sending out some custom card sets today.. one for my friend Lucy from Lowan Park Produce who commissioned a set from the ‘chicken and landscape’ photos from our shoot at her beautiful property last year, and another for someone who was keen to share some Adelaide Festival Centre cards with fellow creatives.. (thanks Renae for being out middle-man) Hope all their recipients love receiving something special and handwritten in the post!

19.01.2022 Announcing this years Pre-Christmas Family Photo Session Weekend Days! Three sites chosen for their beauty and lovely light, where you can come with your family, or groups of friends, for relaxed and fun photos. This is the first year Ill be using the beautiful play space at Eden Hills Kindy for a great option if you have little ones, as well as my favourite parks for photos - Heywood Park and Wittunga Botanic Gardens. Outside of these weekend days Ill also be offering ...after school sessions when daylight savings starts. I also have some days booking up in September at Heywood and Wittunga, that arent on this flyer if you are interested in getting in early. Looking forward to capturing lots of happy smiles in Spring and Summer! *$50 deposit required at the time of booking *A very hot forecast, or predicted heavy rain may result in postponement of the sessions. 18.01.2022 Given I love shooting in the great outdoors, I still take bookings in Winter for rugged up, cosy family shoots, but usually only about a week in advance so we can check the forecast. My Spring/Summer family shoot days will be announced soon though! Heres some happy pics I took earlier this month for the Keogh Family! Lukes windmill arms kept me on my toes but I loved his natural smile that shone through while he was on the move! Thanks to the Knight family for the referral! 18.01.2022 Visited a site along the Torrens today to scout it out for a shoot at the end of October and have decided to open it up as a weekend day for my north-eastern friends! Stay tuned for the flyer tomorrow.. its a beautiful shady spot with lots of logs, creek play options and trees! And Ill probably be in the creek myself taking photos like this in between sessions! 18.01.2022 Only two boob-related cards so far but the Festival of Cath (FOC) has only just kicked off! How did my sister manage to find a card so accurately depicting my running action, hairstyle and legs?! And I love that one of the givers tried hard to actively avoid a cath Leo card... while another selected one of my favourites, the Donkey Orchid from Belair. Both choices were winner as I love my Peter Rabbit getting stuck card, mum! Cards are the best! From your friendly Card Advocate - Cath! Happy Sunday!

18.01.2022 Thanks to my new card client Tash for the purchase of three of my card packs! She checked out my website to see which ones sung to her and chose Native Flowers of Belair, Sturt Gorge and SA Coastal Favourites. I threw in a few extras because I know the fungi pack came a close 4th, and because she liked the aquatics too and there were some from Belair and Shepherds Hill Rec Park that sing to me too but are yet to make it into a collection. 12.01.2022 Using the hot day to ‘relax’ and fill a 100 (!) card order for the team at Healthy Environs Pty Ltd who will be using my designs for Christmas cards this year! Brain Injury SA launched Brain Injury Awareness Week with a perfect, socially-distanced event this morning, live streamed to over 300 others registered at home. Such a special morning, as it is each year, and I always learn something new about what people with acquired brain injury live with. Some brilliant videos shared too by the Lifetime Support Authority - LSA. Thanks for having me there again BISA!... #BIAW2020

09.01.2022 Last night I worked up until 7pm, my first shoot with a face mask, with a family squeezing in a pre-chemo/hair loss experience for Mum, using a voucher gifted by her special friends. (Thank you Victoria for organising!) If I needed a lesson in accepting the wider turmoil in South Australia at the momemt, it was witnessing just a bit of their micro turmoil. We had a beautiful time with lots of laughs, and the mum stayed amazingly committed to what we were doing despite a day o...f treatment, and I can’t wait to work on their photos.. what a connected family! Now this morning, first day of lockdown, I may or may not have uttered the words hmmm, I guess there’s a chance the tooth fairy is in lockdown too? Whoops! Guess I have all day to try and rectify that situation! Good luck friends x

I appreciate you all coming to the one spot during these busy months and I’m sure I captured some beautiful photos for you all! 05.01.2022 Gee its been nice to capture three generations together again after the months of grandparents needing to keep their distance. This family had a voucher given as a Christmas gift and we landed a beautiful Spring day to capture them all together. The young boys were PERFECT (but did insist on breaking up the cuddles with a wrestle... scroll through to the end to see their energetic action! ) and the grown ups were super well behaved too. Thanks Valda for organising the voucher - it was SO lovely to photograph you all again x

05.01.2022 Heres an idea - Grab your best friends together and share a big family photo shoot! Each of these 5 families got 20 mins each, with the left over time in the 2 hour block allowing for some friendship groupings and playground shots! Great value for each family and there was also abundant talent for me to have junior (or senior!) dancers entertaining the subjects while I was photographing them! Such a great time - I felt truly energised by the experience and am now ready to ...take on the peak pre-Christmas period, starting with a group of sessions this Saturday. So glad to have a continued connection to this office and their super friendly staff. Nothing to do with being related to the owner, Im sure!

04.01.2022 My session with Karen and Tayah was a celebration of their super special bond, but I also loved capturing individual photos of each of them too. I love to take opportunities to capture beautiful photos of women on their own, especially in such a pretty dress! There were some cute photos of Tayah photobombing those moments, which is kind of fitting too! Thanks Karen for organising the shoot, I hope you love these samples... many more to come!

03.01.2022 Here I am at Eden Hills Kindy - and yes, I have a dinosaur tucked in my jumper - shes called Scalene and today shes bounced on my camera, whacked me on the head and tickled me while I worked. And now Im a bit exhausted! After doing all the kindy student portraits Ive decided to hold at least one of my pre-Christmas family session days at this beautiful location - a haven for kids, with lots of spots in nice light all through the day. I promise Ill be setting those dates as soon as I can!

03.01.2022 Working at home editing LOTS of photos from last weeks mini-session days at UniSA. So many nice memories of the chats had in between photos (the conversations are VERY important in this game) and I was especially glad to have a canine participant in service dog Alba. What a handsome client! Thanks everyone for allowing me to share some - these days are perfect work experiences for me, with all the lovely folk to capture!

02.01.2022 I love curating a custom set of cards... this customer said A mix of coastal, a couple of natives, a leaf or two and whatever youd think compliments the collection... - so I put these together and theyve become a bit of a Bush to Beach set! 02.01.2022 I love to try and know all the names in family groups before a shoot but when theres more than 20 at a session it takes a bit of practice! Heres this mornings memory testing session with one of my junior coaches, in prep for a fabulous group photo shoot featuring 5 different families.... and the rain held out!
