22.01.2022 Here's a great activity to do (mostly by yourself if you don't count the Meehan Monsters chasing after you) in May. Get outside by yourself, ride bikes and have fun! Training regularly is great for your whole cardio system and that's great for that other thing we're all hearing about. Getting your legs eaten is less good, but you gotta take the good with the bad. Entries are open online now!

17.01.2022 Hi All, Friends we’re sad to announce that we're just not able to run the Meehan Monster in 2020. There’s quite a few moving parts to an event, but things like not being able to have a race village with atmosphere, overstretched health services, and the overall uncertainty COVID-19 has caused have all stacked up against us. ... The shop which powers the Monster is absolutely flat out. We do it for the love Monster fans and while there is plenty of love, there’s a few too many balls in the air to make it work. We never want to run half a race and once we get out the other side and it’s easier to plan things, we’ll announce the new date. If you have an entry we will issue you with a full refund. You do not need to contact us for this to happen. Thanks to everyone for your patience, stay safe out there. Lots of love, The Whole Monster Family

17.01.2022 It's here! It's here! RACE DAY IS THIS SUNDAY! We have some final spots available on the day, so if you haven't already grabbed your ticket, head on over to the Meehan Monster website before midnight on Wednesday OR get there super bright and early on Sunday to bag your racing spot (first in best dressed, if you're planning to get your ticket on the day). Late entries - desk opens from 6.30am.... Entries will close for the 75km/team category at 7:30am. Entries will close for the 50km at 8:30am Entries will close for the 25km at 9:30am RACE PLATE COLLECTION All number plates are to be collected on the day at the sign-on / timing tent. SPECTATORS & COWBELLS WELCOME! Spectators (and their cowbells) are most welcome if you want to come and support your friends on Sunday. It's aways a good day out, so get along to the Meehan Range and give your friends a cheer if you're not racing this year.

08.01.2022 Hi Folks - some bummer news. :( Due to some circumstances that are outside our control. We need to move the Monster to next year. After some careful looking we're going with May 17 2020. If you're already entered you can either be automatically transferred to the new date or request a no questions asked refund.

01.01.2022 MAXIMUM MONSTER ALERT! The Meehan Monster 2019 is now open for entries! The website has been updated with 2019 details and entry details. This year the laps are 32km (30 + 2km start loop) and there's the option for a 1 or 2 lap race (2 laps can be done solo or a lap each in a team)! New for 2019 for electrified monster evaders is an ebike category too. http://www.meehanmonster.com
