23.01.2022 Good friends in Mandurah showing a small part of the process of mounting and framing a large landscape image.

21.01.2022 Update on Wayne and his recently renovated shoulder. He’s healing nicely, but is a cranky as a bear with a sore head because he can’t go out to the shed to play! Not for at least another 6 weeks. But he has been chatting to other up and coming sculptors needing some advice recently, and we are going over to a customers house tomorrow to advise on where to place the brolgas they purchased at Open Studios. So he is ‘keeping his hand in’ so to speak. That will cheer him up a bit.

19.01.2022 Designing the plinth.

It has been decided by all participants that we had such a great opening our studios at this time of year that we are going to repeat it again in Spring next year. SAVE THE DATE!!! September 11 - 25th- 2021. Be there or be square!... Margaret River Region Open Studios

12.01.2022 Were allowing Eclipse to weather naturally without adding any more coating. The original oil mix is starting to wear off, and we are liking the aged look it is starting to take on. Sculpture commissions welcome. Send Wayne a message for details.

12.01.2022 All’s well on the shoulder surgery front with Wayne asking for Tim Tams to go with his post op cuppa. So he must be feeling okay! In the meantime.. how cool is this driftwood art! Japanese artist Nagato Iwasaki creates incredible figurative sculptures out of driftwood.

07.01.2022 After much deliberation and noticing how germination, new life, beginnings, and seed pods seem to be the common theme for this sculptures name, we went to the Thesaurus and came up with Genesis.

01.01.2022 Visited the Perth Art Gallery the other day and checked out some great works. It was interesting to see a large corten steel sculpture by renown sculptor Clement Meadmore, and how it has stood up to the test of time without any surface treatment over a 40 year period. Bodes well for our works! We also dropped over to Yagan Square to look at the decorative corten panels on the buildings there. Such beautiful colours! And of course Yagans sculpture.
